Breach of guidelines
Wrong plant delivered. Threatening messages received after raising a dispute.
In Oct 2025, I ordered a plant from Well Potted Plants (WPP) and received the wrong item. The plant delivered did not match the image on their website in size or appearance. I contacted them several times by WhatsApp, their web query form, and email, but did not receive a response or a resolution. The only WhatsApp reply I received simply stated that the plant had been delivered, with no acknowledgment of the issue.
Because the matter was not addressed, I opened a dispute with Tabby, the payment platform I used for the purchase. After their investigation, Tabby concluded that I should receive a 50% refund (to cover the pot only).
After this, I received several WhatsApp messages from WPP that I found threatening. They alleged that I was breaking the law by leaving a 1-star review and stated they would file a police case unless I removed it and demanded full payment through a payment link (even though original purchase was made through Tabby). At that time, I did not remove my original review. Instead, I requested that they remove their Trustpilot reply claiming I was not a genuine customer, as this is incorrect. That reply remains online.
Due to the nature of their messages, I contacted the Police, who informed me that writing a 1-star review is not a crime, but sending threatening messages is a criminal matter. They advised me to file a police report, which I did. After opening the case, I received further threatening communication, which I reported to both Tabby and Trustpilot.
I have now received an email from WPP stating that they have filed a police case against me for alleged defamation.
Defamation under UAE law is the act of making a false statement or accusation—spoken, written, or online—that harms a person or company’s reputation.
This updated review is based solely on documented and provable events from my personal experience. At the time of writing this review (Nov 2025), WPP had a very high proportion of 1-star reviews describing similar experiences. (currently 88% as per their dashboard)

Update - all the WhatsApp communications sent to Dubai Gov regulators and Trustpilot - they can clearly detail what is described above. We contacted multiple times and all communication ignored.
This company is extremely concerning that they are even allowed to write libellous statements about consumers

Paid 499 AED for a 180 cm Bird of Paradise, but received a much shorter, distressed plant worth the 299 AED size instead. It arrived four days late, and when I asked for a replacement or compensation, the seller was dismissive. False advertising and very disappointing experience. And now no one is getting back to me!

Same as all other reviews, really bad
Same as all other reviews. Really bad cusomter service after delivering diseased plants with plastic bags and any rubbish they could find in the soil under the plant when I needed to repot after they sent damaged pots. They don't answer any messages. Will not be buying again
Update after response from Vendor: I have placed two orders and most of the plants they sent are dead already, they have 87% one star reviews for a reason. I bought twice, after the first delivery they refused to cancel the 2nd order after delivery of my first order. Bin bags, plastic and foam inside the soil in the pots they delivered and half the order smaller than advertised or in the wrong pot. I'm a customer and had no problem ordering plants from your competitors. I will DM again to your email which I already did without reply from you. You delivered after midnight as you knew I wouldn't accept the order. Please stop sending dead plants to customers paying good money for your fake adverts on Facebook, that's why you blocked me on Facebook because I added pictures of what you delivered to me which is not what you advertise

Cyber fraud case opened with police
Order placed 20 September. No order delivered, charged for same day delivery. No reply to any repeated communication, I am now not even sure that this company actually exists. No refund as yet. This is unacceptable and comes down to not fulfilling their part of the agreement, I have the proof of payment, the order confirmation email, but no product was delivered, and no reply to enquiries.

This company is a fraud, not only did they take ages to deliver the plant but they delivered a sick plant, explains why their prices are so cheap.
The customer service is avoiding any contact, despite several reports, they will never pick up the phone and they will never reply to your messages. All of the other reviews here are saying the truth.

Very poor service. Despite paying in advance, the promised work was not completed on time, and no one followed up. Customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful.
