They are not an honest business. They take full advantage of the fact that there are not many wellers to choose from. They cost me thousands as the work they have done will need to be done again. All Ben would have had to do is to activate the supposed warranty to replace the faulty pump he installed, but he can't be bothered even to do that, let alone to fix the mess he left me with. The only option left is to take them to court. Good luck if you take a chance on them, you will need it.
After finding ring of bricks in our flower bed, I contacted Well Masters, booked a slot, they arrived on time. Ben and Kerri worked tirelessly for four days digging out the backfill from the very cramped (24” ID) brickwork. I found them both knowledgeable and informative providing some much-valued input into my restoration project. Well Masters also supplied a quality submersible pump and a string of lights, which can be pulled up for maintenance.
I now have a fully functional well in my garden. Thank you, Ben and Kerri.
Our well was an historic one, backfilled with rubble in the 60s. Ben and Kerri did what they said they would, turned up on time etc. but far better than this they have an enormous depth of knowledge about wells, their history and how they are made. We now have a functional well full of water (with electric pump and tap). They are a tiny company (just the two of them) so as their website says the people answering emails are the people doing the work. They are very busy with many clients so the customer relationship is not about instant gratification, but if you want knowledge, hard work and a practical result they’re great.
These sound like a good family business which is why they were my first choice even though there are closer companies. The problem is that they are not contactable. I wrote long messages on their website contact form which wouldn't send. I won't bother to contact them as other reviews confirm this is a big issue with them.
we found well masters to be a very professional people they were also very nice people, i have seen that other people have had problems with communication, we however did not suffer any such problems and they came did the job in a day left the premises neat and tidy and we would thoroughly recommend them, they even tested the water for us and sent us the results within a reasonable time
Suggest avoiding this company. Light fitted in our well stopped working after just over a year, so was just out of warranty. Have refused to attend to rectify even as paid job. Now one of the key aspects of having our well cleaned and sorted (lighting it up) is not possible / doesn't work. Hugely frustrating on all fronts.
From reading the reviews, I am sure that Kerri and Ben are very knowledgeable and helpful and, when they come, do a great job. However, as other reviews point out, communication with them is a nightmare. The only way to communicate is by email – no phone number. I first contacted Wellmasters in July about restoring a well which I had discovered in my garden. Communication was sporadic, first because the Wellmasters family had Covid, and then later because their inbox was full. In September we finally fixed a date for Kerri and Ben to come and do an initial clean. On the arranged date, 1 Nov, I waited for them to arrive – they never showed up. I emailed to ask what the problem was and when would they be coming – over a week later, still no response. So after 4 months I am no further forward and am now having to find another well restoration company. Hugely disappointing and I cannot recommend this company.

Kerri and Ben were excellent, really knowledgeable, worked incredibly hard and we're also happy to take questions from my inquisitive children. Looking forward to having them back for the next stage of our well transformation.
Well Masters were excellent. Responsive, knowledgeable and really helpful. They came out and worked out exactly what we were dealing with and what our options were. Can't fault them.
We would highly recommend Ben and Kerri. They are very experienced and unphased by any problem. They both worked really hard and non-stop all day to get the job done and we are really happy with the results!
They were also helpful in sharing information about how to finish up the top of the well and who we could speak to about a glass cover and what to look out for.
Thank you both!
Brilliant service from Ben and Krissie. very prompt and efficient and their knowledge and experience was excellent.
I hired Wellmasters last August to repair and restore an antique well pump of mine. They took the well pump and then weren’t contactable for months. We were eventually able to resolve the problem and the work was beautiful, but I recommend that Wellmasters includes a phone number on their website so at least customers can get real time status updates.
Contacted this company for an estimate, via email, as they do not provide a telephone number. They refused to give any kind of estimate without photographs.
We sent photographs but did not receive any further communication and were unable to make contact by telephone. In the end we chose another company with infinitely better customer service.
