I'm sure they do good work but there's no e-mail address for queries from 'regular' folk (there's one for major donors and the press) so I was unable to contact them to get a copy of my tax documentation. Also, the phone number on their website is unanswered and has a 'full' voicemail. If they manage to sort this out, I'd consider donating again but for now it's a black box and should be avoided.
I was signed up to donate money to this Welcome.US, which I had never heard of. I was researching online and after clicking a link that was NOT Welcome.US, but somehow I ended up in what then linked itself to my Google Pay and committed me to donating monthly. No phone number is provided and the only mechanisms anyone has to contact them is by providing another donation. If it's not a scam, it certainly uses deceptive schemes to hijack and exploit those who are simply looking online for groups supporting certain causes.
