Unrefrigerated medication

They ship meds which are supposed to be refrigerated via regular USPS. In my opinion this is a cost cutting measure. The cancer drug for my Cat was shipped refrigerated for years and all of a sudden they discontinue. Customer service was rude. I would not trust my animals with this place. The pharmacist was unable to explain why the medication was shipped in this manner.

There is no customer support

There is no customer support. The auto-refill is not working. No one will answer the phone. What happened to this company? After using their service for a few years now, you have lost my business, and I am moving on.

Rip Off

My vet prescribed daily medication in liquid form (for ease of dispensing to my dog who is a little bit of an oddball). The prescription was supposed to be for a monthly supply. Wedgwood, at its own election, chose to send me enough medication for only two weeks, but charged me an amount equivalent to what other pet pharmacies were charging for a monthly supply. (I priced the script at other pet pharmacies.). I ended up canceling the Wedgewood prescription and going to another full service online pet store for my dog’s prescription.

Customer Service Is a Joke!

It's always something with this company! I can see why they rate a 2.1. This time I ordered refills for both cats (boy cat had 2 refills, girl cat had 1). Wedgewood sent 2 prescriptions for the boy cat and none for the girl cat. When I called Customer Service about this, they said it had to be my mistake, even though it's not possible to order 2 refills for the same cat at the same time with their online system. When I explained this to the CSR, and then the CSR Supervisor, I was given a long list of excuses as to why it wasn't their fault. I was also told that if I wanted to get the girl cats meds refilled, I needed to get a new prescription because the girl cat had no refills left!

The worst part is that Wedgewood Pharmacy obviously doesn't care about their customers OR Customer Service since they have a rating of 2.1 and it's NOT going up!

They keep changing my prescription when…

They keep changing my prescription when the vets aren’t changing them and they have to re-issue them. They blame the vet, but it’s their fault and then I have to pay for a new prescription and then when I contact them, customer service is rude.

Horrible

STAY AWAY from these people. They sent me pills large enough to choke my cat!! Evidently they don't understand an animal's needs. They charged me $100 for Omeprazole! After waiting 15 minutes on the phone (there is no way to email them via their website), I was transferred to a "manager" who was super passive aggressive. He stated they wouldn't refund because it was what the doctor prescribed. So basically I wasted $100 for a mistake a didn't make, a problem nobody can fix, and a medication my cat can't take. They should at least offer a one-time exception - this is what actual decent businesses do to earn a customer's trust, including another compounding pharmacy I've worked with, Scriptworks.

Totally unreliable

Totally unreliable

Prescription was placed by our vet. We were charged $9.50 for freight only to find out that it was shipped through USPS. 8 days later and we still do not have the medicine.

This company could only be improved by…

This company could only be improved by going out of business. Lying about shipping times and prescription refills seems to be their standard. I stood next to the vet tech while he called in for 5 refills, as Wedgewood had arbitrarily decided that I had no more available. When I checked on their website, there was 1 refill available.

DONT DO BUSINEESS WITH THEM!

They sent me the wrong meds flavor. There is something wrong with the one they sent as my cat had a horrible reaction and foamed at mouth for 10 minutes. The customer service is a joke. The number didn't even work one day. Lasy said the could charge me for another script to be filled. She said sorry we screwed up but oh well, pretty much. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I do not recommend Wedgewood

I placed an order for a chemotherapy drug for my cat who is on a strict two week schedule for treatment. I placed the order 10 days ago and let them know that I needed the medication this week. I learned yesterday that the drug will ship on Monday and that means Gemma will at least 4 days off schedule for her treatment. I spoke to Wedgewood today, Saturday, who told me that my instructions on the timing of receipt of the medication was vague. When I said that I would cancel payment for the late arriving medication if I did not care more about my cat receiving her drug than noting my unhappiness, the person I was speaking to me said that I could do that and would never be allowed to order from Wedgewood again. Charming customer service.

WEDGEWOOD PHARMACY MURDERED MY DOG!

I have a senior Chihuahua requiring three different heart medications. On recommendation from our veterinarian, we chose Wedgewood to compound his drugs since he is unable to have them in pill form. The initial order took over EIGHT WEEKS to compound. This alone should have been a red flag, but sadly I continued to use them. Come time for automatic refill, and our beloved pet is nearly out of his meds. Wedgewood shipped his precious heart drugs USPS (the cheapest, WORST possible method) which were supposed to have arrived Sat. Upon contacting them Monday I was rudely informed that the shipping could take up to four business days and that they had to wait until at least Tuesday before they could do anything. Right now, as I am typing this, my husband is rushing our beloved baby to the vet as the poor dog has suffered a heart attack right in front of me. If I could rate Wedgewood negative ZERO stars I would. Do not trust your precious pet's life in the hands of these butchers. All they care about is getting their hands on your $$$$.

COMPLETELY unresponsive

COMPLETELY unresponsive. My vet called in a prescription first thing Tuesday morning -- he said I would get an email with instructions on payment, etc. Tues. afternoon rolls around, nothing.

I called the customer "service" line and waited 7 minutes. Finally got a clueless and rather rude person who couldn't find my order and said it would come in "soon" and that I would get an email in "a day or two."

Friday rolls around, nothing. I sent a fax -- nothing.

If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Wedgewood Pharmacy gave me misinformation.

Wedgewood Pharmacy did not have their batch of compounded medication ready. Over a three week period, I was given four different stories. Last week I was told that the medication would be ready to send out yesterday and that it would be sent by one-day shipping. I did not receive the medication today, so I called again and now am told that the medication is not ready yet. I am out of medication for my cat.

More trouble than it's worth

More trouble than it's worth. They will not provide a quote without RX. RX MUST be faxed, mailed or called into them by only the VET. They will not accept a copy or verbal from pet owner for quote purposes. I called my vet and they do not do FAXES, so they EMAILED the RX to them. Since they prefer to take RX's via phone call or fax, email will take 24-48 hours to process before they can get a quote to me.

It’s all about the $$$ even when it’s their mistake

They notified me via email my cat’s prescription would be delayed for 3 weeks, but day 21 they sent a $75.00 prescription without notifying me. I complained and they refused to do anything even remotely related to customer service. I canceled the order on Feb 9, 2024, they still said it was on me to pay because they couldn’t return a compound prescription. I guess not when you can steal from the customer.
