I can’t log in my wechat account. And I try to recover my account and get the retrieval number. But it fails and just let me go to the help.wechat.com to find help. And then nobody answers me. I’m very angry and depressed. The wechat account is very important to me and I still have my friends in wechat contacts. Don’ use wechat or you will lose your friend suddenly. My retrieval number is 74156554. Please help to solved it.

This app is Good few years ago, now its garbage dead serious! keep seNding need to verify your account how many times I explained the problem no rescue. Calls and emails been there but stupid enough not take care their customer. Customer service are useless!💩

Few weeks ago i had been blocked without any malicious act, severally i wrote to the team for assistance it's more than three weeks and yet no response to my messages, come on this is very bad i wish i could get help.

I am a Malaysian, I have been registered on WeChat for 5 years, and I only have 9 friends. A few days ago, a Chinese person added my WeChat, and then my WeChat was restricted from adding friends and logging in to the website. I need help from others. It must be unblocked by a Chinese WeChat with a bank card bound to me. I need to submit real-name information, bank account information, and mobile phone number. It’s a bit disgusting. This thing can only be used by Chinese people. If it is from other countries , If you don't have Chinese friends, you can't use it at all.

我是马来西亚人，我的微信注册了5年了，只有9个好友，几天前有个中国人加了我的微信，然后我的微信就限制加好友，限制网页登录了，需要别人帮助解封，而且必须是中国人绑定了银行卡的微信给我解封，需要提交实名信息，银行账户信息，手机号码，有点恶心了，这个东西只能是中国人用了，如果是其他国家人，没有中国朋友的，干脆就没办法使用。

Impossible to get access without a third person guarentee u r a real person. In other words no way to get access by your own!!!

The worst possible app to sign up for ever. I bought a page turner that requires WeChat to work. So I have to have a friend to validate me to use a page turner? What? The program is horrible to set up, in fact won’t set up. It wouldn’t give me the registration button only the sign in button. Then it kept spitting me out. It wouldn’t let me sign in with Facebook, apple or Google. Waste of time. My page turner is going back.

Works basically good as a Instant Messenger. I use it to talk with my friends in China.

the app is not a secure means of communication and chats are stored and can be used against a person if needed - so remember that if you are a foreigner living in the country where it comes from. and especially if you work there as you will be coerced into using it for work communications. Do not install the the wechat for PC version. It is malware as is some of the other tencent software available ..QQ, WeMeet. There was a short lived web browser version of wechat (URL is still up) but its has been disabled because most likely monitoring was not as easy.

I use we chat on a daily basis and not had any problems, although, you can only use wechat pay only if you have a Chinese ID, it's really popular in China, almost everyone use WeChat at where I live, the only problem is the screen goes black when you hold the phone too close to use face when listening to a recording.

The registration and security validation and the need for a third party friend to validate you is ridiculous. The app is horrible. The support is horrible. The onboarding is horrible. I will never again try to use this crappy app.

My account was permanently blocked before I had even had a chance to use it, citing "unusual account activity" I have tried to get it unblocked with no real help. Customer service is almost non-existent. If you have a choice, don't use them. They REALLY SUCK.

I'm British, in the UK, long since retired and use Wechat most days to contact friends and family in the UK and overseas.I didn't have any problem installing it, or using it. I have it on my laptop and on my android phone. I like it because group chats are simple to start, big files and photos easily be sent and received, as can text messages. It is a product of TenCent, a huge Chinese company, quoted for many years on the Hong Kong stock exchange. Before Wechat, its non video multi language
chat programme 'QQ' was popular. Of course Wechat has a lot of Chinese users. Several hundred million of them, but it is nonsense that they are forced to. That is ridiculous. There are other choices available, but just not as good and not as much fun to use. Those who have trouble installing it should just read the instructions carefully and try again.

The worst app ever...and the most ridiculous sign up process...! I had an account for one day last year, and I got blocked for no reason at all after day one..!! I tried to create a new account now and I can't....! I sent an email to their customer service, and nobody got back to me...!!!! So annoying!!!!!

The most ridiculous app. Can’t even retrieve forgotten password and can’t reset. I have not even started using it and it is a nerve wracking.

Worst registration process i have ever experienced. We wanted to setup an account before our trip to China. Some people claimed this app is a must have app for china. Let me tell you: this app is a waste of time, and nothing else. We could do everything we wanted in china without this app. Instead of benefiting from this app, we've failed 3 times including support of multiple people and even with a chinese mobile phone number (requires passport registration). You are much better off installing a VPN, using your regular chat tools such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Google, and using those instead of wasting your and your friends time with this crappy app.

We used the app for our communication with our business partners in China.
We were pleased with the functionality of the app. But after 6 months or so, our account got blocked out of the blue with no further explanation.
Unblocking the account proved to be impossible after many frustrating attempts.

After contacting Wechat the only thing they give you is a standard reply referring to the same useless 'unblocking procedure' that won't get you any further in solving the problem.

WeChat clearly doesn't give a cr*p whether their users are able to use their app or not.

Thanks to the God I am not living in China for that matter, but somehow I do understand China government here anyway no matter how you put it. They need to care about their own culture and it does really help in that. So go figure all that much.
