Our branch manager was Michael Lynn. I was impressed with his knowledge and how he conveyed how "we buy any car" came up with the value for the vehicle. He told it like it is, explained where the vehicle lost any value. He answered any questions we had honestly. He allowed me to watch him inspect the vehicle. He then told us what the computer said it's value was and got us fair market value for the vehicle. During the whole meeting he never pressured us, was friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and made the car selling process not an ordeal. I will recommend to my friends selling vehicles to go to we buy cars and ask specifically for Michael Lynn.

We're sorry to hear that they did not provide the five-star customer service experience we are famous for and we want to make that right in any way we can.
I see that we successfully purchased your Ford Taurus but it had many problems which were not disclosed to us when you requested a valuation. Although you did state that the vehicle had issues, you did not provide any details and our website did warn you about this before you skipped the condition assessment page.
Like any professional buyer, we always carry out an appraisal before we cut a check. This includes physical and mechanical checks and we also run OBD2 diagnostics to check for any engine or drivetrain issues. At the branch, the car started smoking and leaking green coolant. We also noted that the key had a programming issue and must be placed in the center console to start the car.
On running diagnostic checks, it was clear there were many problems:

As the vehicle was overheating and could not safely be driven, we determined it to be a non-runner which has a considerable impact on the valuation we can offer. As a non-runner, the junk yard would definitely be the best place to sell as they can strip the car for parts. That is not our business and most likely we will sell to a vehicle recycler to cover our costs. We are not a junk car buyer and only ever buy junk cars as a courtesy to our customers. Had we known the vehicle was a junker, we would have given you a very different valuation estimate upfront.
While I'm glad to see we were able to take this problem vehicle out of your hands, we're sorry that you did not have a great customer service experience. I like how he explains the whole fair process
In recent times one comes to expect little in the way of customer satisfaction. This is not the case with Michael's office at We buy any car in Brandon, Florida. We were greeted as if we were old friends reuniting, in a spacious bright office filled with personal memorabilia, by a smiling face and friendly greeting. Selling my car made me at first very wary of the transaction, but I left after a very pleasant process with nothing but positivity flowing through me.
