Web Security Academy is a great place to sharpen your knowledge of web security. If you are a JavaScript developer and care about the security of the applications you build, this is the place to be. Bartosz's concise videos coupled with practical assignments make the learning process fast and efficient.

Great training from Security Academy. Bartosz goes deep in the concepts and applies them with real life scenarios. Nice to catch up in a call and ask all the questions.

I have joined the web-security academy on its first instalment and, although being a senior software engineer, I learned a considerable amount of new ideas and concepts. The video training resources are quite engaging and there's always something new to be extracted from it. Bartosz is highly professional and keeps improving and evolving himself to ensure he provides the best content to the students. Since I did my course, a big amount of new resources has been added and some of the videos have been re-recorded as part of this continuous improvement. Having a lifetime subscription is great because after all this time I will be enjoying all the updates and additional content without having to pay extra. This means there's definitely consideration for the students of the program and it's not just a bunch of old and dated videos like you sometimes see on other platforms. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward for any new content :)

Excellent Content! Web Security is a totally different beast in web development. This course by Bartosz tame the beast! Oh BTW, you get tips, tricks, and/or hacks every week if you subscribe as well!

Finding a complete and up to date Web security content is hard and time consuming, especially as a whole. With Web Security Academy, I found out a great opportunity to learn about security in depth both on client and server sides. The program's material isn't just a simple support to learn but provides good practices of a real world application. Bartosz is a great teacher and meetings with him and other students is part of the program, giving you the support from a whole community.

Thorough and knowledgable instructor with content that is relevant to modern-day software engineering practices.

Great course and experience
I like the fact that the course is available forever and you can always get back to it and go through the parts that you missed, not to mention you will get the latest updates on it.
The course is great and includes all you need to know to properly secure your apps.
Bartosz is a great guy and you will learn that he is trying his best to bring everyone together, have them discuss and brainstorm for solutions on their current issues.

I joined by curiosity most of all, I wanted to expand my knowledge and web security was something I didn't know anything about.

This was the best decision I made, I learned A LOT, the courses were clear and easy to understand, a lot of use cases are studied and the teacher takes the time to explain deeply every concept.

But the most important thing that helped me was the fact that he was always available in Slack to answer to my questions. So when you are listening to a course and you don't get a concept, you can just go on Slack and ask directly for more precisions.

Fun fact: with the different courses I understand a lot of problems we had on our web application, and I was able to solve them or at least understand what we did wrong and how we should operate for the next time.

tldr: 5/5, waiting for his next course.

It's been great to work through the core course material and make security improvements across my own projects.

I live in Australia so time zones haven't matched up for me to attend any of the monthly hangouts but I have talked directly with him on a number of occasions. It is clear from Bartosz's enthusiasm, accessibility and passion that he is creating a solid community through this academy.

Very interesting way of implement web securities in both client and server sides.

Every module has a spesific topic to discuss giving you a clear view over the content it covers . Each module summarizes the basic factors while giving you guidelines to search into more specific details relevant to the content that the modules provide.

well basically it is complex, well gathered and categorized knowledge in security area. topics are really well prepared and goes thru all areas of web security not only from frontend but from backend part as well. everything is nicely and easy explained by Bartosz. before starting I thought I know a lot but it turned out that there is plenty of things to learn still. highly recommended :)

Especially the Zoom meetings and the knowledge exchange are a real plus and differentiate the course from other online courses. I would recommend this program to any web developer who wants to thoroughly secure web applications and lift his/her skills to a new level.

Programming is a struggle where only constant learning can improve your knowledge and make you a better developer. So my advice to you, is to invest in yourself and in your knowledge.

WebSecurity Academy is a great place to learn new skills or increase your current. The instructor is very kind and has a goal that you understand all the content, so there's a Community (Slack) that you'll be a part of so you can ask questions (or help answer them), talk personally with the instructor, and get to know the other students. One thing I really like about this program is that it's paced over a certain amount of time. You won't be overwhelmed with On-Demand videos, although later you'll have on-demand access forever, which also nice! Overall, I give this 5 out of 5 stars!

I bought the course and it was well worth it. It really helped me with a auth module structure for angular, and introduced very helpful how to for 2 way authentication. Best part is i have access to this knowledge after the course was done.
