No Refunds Even When The Mistake Is Theirs

I downgraded my account to a free account, but they charged me anyway at the next billing cycle. All email accounts are no-reply. The Chat is A.I. and worthless. There is no phone number. What kind of company is this? I wanted a refund and they said NO even though I have a free account. I wonder if they are going to just keep charging me forever?

Buyer beware

Webflow customer service is non existing. We have been having numerous issues for 17 months and there is no way to address them. Their support contact process I believe are not real people. Every time we ask for specific solutions the send us an article that does not address the issue. We have been overbilled so many times and to date no refund. Filed a complaint with the San Fransico BBB and they informed me that non of there of the enquiries have been responded. Smells like a Ponzi scheme...buyer beware.

Stay as far away as possible

Trust the other reviews on this site and stay clear of this company. Also, read the other reviews on Glassdoor and other sites. Webflow will try and come across as a very collaborative partner as they court you to sign the contract, but all along they are only interested in one thing -- hitting their "growth" targets. Their business practices are unethical, and their sales executives are only driven by dollars, no matter what collateral damage they leave in their wake. You are better off finding another solution for your CMS. You will get better service, much more value, and, most important of all, a partnership you can trust. Do your due diligence and stay clear.

Our Agency began using Webflow this year...

Our Agency Entropic Digital began to use Webflow at the start of the year, and we have found it to be an incredibly powerful too with a lot of granular control. We love the ability to integrate a lot straight out of the box with things like Spline and User accounts. Though there is not a huge range of plugins, it is a force to be reckoned with. Excited to see the platforms future development!!

Pros: Clean interface, granular control, regular updates, great learning resources with a tidy interface for them (though some are out of date now), great integration of basic functionality needed for more complex websites to a point.

Cons: The pricing and understanding the right plan could be rather confusing for some, with expensive hosting. The lack of plugins may be an issue for some. Lacks some features that are common on other platforms. Learning curve is high for beginners.

Does what it's supposed to and is a…

Does what it's supposed to and is a great tool in the hands of competent developers who know what the limitations are and why. 4 stars because their e-com is terrible, but for that people should just use Shopify.

A lot of uninformed people reviewing suggesting "it's not suitable for complex builds" and "Wordpress is better" clearly don't know what they're doing. Webflow isn't supposed to be a replacement for application development and for the latter Wordpress is a slow, outdated platform with it's own problems.

2/5 stars overall is a joke, their platform when used for what it's actually designed for is very good.

Just absolutely terrible

We moved from a custom coded platform to Webflow. I have absolutely no words for how incredibly bad and inadequate it is for every single kind of complex job. This is not meant to cater to larger companies with complex requirements, and for the little part that it does, it will absolutely rip your heart out on pricing.

- Very poor AWS integration, for basic things such as SSL certificates. It forces you to use CloudFlare
- The design tool for the website is really flaky at best. It has no concept of operational transformation, meaning it would appear only one person at a time can work on the website, even if they attempt to edit separate pages. This is because Webflow does not seem to employ competent engineering, very shameful for a valley company of its size.
- Basic things are missing from it. Geographical content doesn't exist, i18n support is just abysmal. You need to replace one piece of string after the next, there's no proper way to do it. Google tooling would allow you to export your total set of i18n strings, and feed them to a third party agency
- The pricing model only makes sense to the Silicon Valley VCs that funded this monster into existence. Want a new language? Double the price.
- Upsell pricing is insanely expensive, whether it's network, bandwidth, storage or whatever else.

if you're researching this as a competent replacement for your website, I get it. You're thinking "hey my company has better things to do". Honest advice, don't bite that bullet. This is meant for 1 - 2M a year companies that operate in a single market. It's terribly bad for anything else, and there are far better platforms out there

Don't use the 2FA!

Don't use the 2FA they make it so difficult to log back in you cannot access your account. Asking very difficult questions and then close the support before its resolved.

great platform

We recently migrated to Webflow and honestly it's been a great experience. These negative reviews are not accurate in the slightest. We haven't had any run-ins with their support but overall the platform is extremely well-run and full of features.

This site is a total scam

This site is a total scam. I got the impression that they are fraudsters. I created an account there once, but I didn't like the site, so I stopped using it. However, I kept receiving emails from them non-stop, and I couldn't turn them off because it said they would continue sending emails about my account. These emails were just updates and news that I never read or cared about.

One day, I got really angry when I received another annoying email and decided to delete my account. That's when I discovered that there is no option to delete the account directly; you have to contact support for that. This made me furious because it felt like the whole company was full of tricks, making it difficult to get rid of them.

So, I went through all the steps and emailed them to delete my account. Then, I received a long email explaining that I had to reply to their email with specific statements confirming I wanted to delete my account. OMG, I was so angry at this point. What a scam! Never again. This whole experience just shows that this company is deceitful.

Stay away from this service

Stay away from this service. Not only overpriced, but they scammed me openly. And their customer service is not stable. Each time someone new responds to you by forgetting the previous message. Thus, they did not solve the problem. Unsubscribed from them. Will go with Wordpress.

Awful unless you can afford to invest in a pro - either way hugely overpriced

Awful customer service and refused to honour start up discount that is meant to be provided as part of a FounderPass membership. Platform is clunky and saying you don't need coding knowledge is bul****. Writing HTML and CSS yourself is genuinely easier than trying to navigate their platform and interface. Interactions in particular make no sense and their help pages and 'courses' are useless.

Bunch of scammers

Bunch of scammers, I will change my review once I get my refund. A customer service agent said he would cancel my account and refund me a week later on live chat and then disappeared while charging me another month the month later. The refund system is lengthy and long, I had to go backwards and forwards through 16 different sections of the website in order to process my refund, The refund button then has a bug on it so it doesn't even work, the system itself is crap and they expect you to enroll in webflow university in order to navigate their buggy website. Honestly stay away from webflow.
