I got the Hugl for Christmas and I have to say I am obsessed. It was a gift from my mom because I sleep really warm and I have to stay this is one of the coldest pillows that I have ever tried!! I even let my bf use it (who doesnt usually like these things) and he also said it was incredible. Seriously, this is amazing!

I love this body pillow! I have kicked my husband out of the bed and replaced him with pillow and do not plan on turning back!

I placed an order with Plufl on May 23, 2024, for €374.95, including €250 for shipping, with delivery promised within 3–4 weeks. Since then, I have faced nothing but delays, poor communication, and unfulfilled promises.

- Repeated Delays: The company repeatedly postponed the delivery date, citing stock issues in June, August, and November, but never provided a firm resolution.
- Surprise fees : After months of delay, they asked me to pay a supplement of 300€ for shipping !
- Refund Agreed: On December 13, the company promised to refund my payment but failed to process it. On December 19, they admitted to an error and offered to refund via PayPal, which I accepted.
- No Action Taken: Despite their assurances, I have not received my refund, and the company has become unresponsive to my follow-up emails.

It has been over seven months since I placed the order, and nearly a month since they promised the PayPal refund. This lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable.

I basically got scammed of 374.95€, and caution others to think twice before ordering from this company.

I don't plan to stop here, and will seek legal council to get my money back.

I purchased a Hugl back in August of 2023 as part of their kickstarter/indiegogo campaign. I have had no correspondence, no emails, no product, no one will contact me back, no one will answer any of my attempts to reach out and they still took my money. I am very annoyed and this company is not at all professional.

If only I could give negative stars! I purchased this as a backer to kickstart their company. After a year wait, no item. After sending emails. No replies. After sending DMs on Instagram. No replies. No item, no decency, no responsibility. Buyer beware!
Update: since this review the company has reached out and refunded my money!

As of today, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Plufl has FAILED to provide a shipping notice and expected delivery date for my order that was purchased exactly one week ago on Tuesday, December 11, 2024.

I have sent four (4) emails. Two (2) emails via their website "contact" page and two (2) from my personal email. I have indicated that I would like to cancel the order as well as request a refund IF they continue to disregard the importance of communicating with their customers, especially, first time customers like myself.

The company appears to be quite efficient at charging credit cards and sending out automoted follow-up emails for promotional products; however, as described they care little for taking care of a customer's initial purchase concerns...like when will it be shipped and received.

Gave two (2) stars because I am hoping that I will receive the product BEFORE Christmas as the website promises, but a search of reviews on the internet is quickly dimming my hopes:(

I will get a refund if they don't get it to my doorstep by 12.24.24. I will not accept their product after that date. No restocking fee either because I WILL HAVE NEVER RECEIVED IT to begin with.

UPDATE: As of 11:30 AM CST, TODAY, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Plufl has "blocked" their phone number (206.202.0892) from taking any calls EVEN to their "messages."

This occurred after I made multiple attempts to have them answer the phone and even leaving two (2) messages. There are, obviously, folks at this location and they PURPOSEFULLY set their phone number to the following..."The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time..." from what it was before...a message telling customers to email them at the email that they consistently FAIL to respond to.

Not sure where all the positive reviews come from, but not experiencing that. Stay tuned. I will be writing a negative review every twenty-four (24) hours that I continue to receive NO COMMUNICATION and NO PRODUCT!

Plufi responded to my customer service issue to my satisfaction on an accidental double order.
I purchased Plufl as a Christmas gift or my daughter and her dog. She loves it!! Spends a ton of relaxing and remote working time with her Dog daily in her Pufi. Awesome Product!

We love the material the Hugl is made out of. It is much cooler than the fuzzy material of our other body pillow, which we love because we get hot often during sleep. Also, the ability to snap the end of the Hugl together is very useful for moving it around and using it in different positions, as well as its handle. Super comfy for relaxing or sleeping!

There's a garbage invite on my calendar at 9:25 AM tomorrow from Plufl. I have no idea how they got my email address but I certainly didn't give them permission to take a dump in my calendar for marketing purposes. This latest form of marketing is absolutely intrusive and noxious. My calendar is for my convenience and not for you to fill with irrelevant-to-me non-events.

Marketing to the calendar sounds like a great idea if you were born in 2000. Please flush it down the skibidi toilet of history.

1/22/25 They're trying to get my review taken down asking for my phone number. I'm not giving it out. I'm happy to share screenshots of what they sent my calendar. This is a super intrusive marketing technique. They've been spamming my inbox since March 2023 but the calendar is crossing a line.

I love my Hugl pillow! It's great for hip pain and the cooling fabric is an added bonus. I wake up in the morning feeling less pain. I also love how comfortable this pillow is for sitting in bed, working on my laptop! Super comfy and versatile!

Literally the most comfortable pillow ever! It’s what I’ve been waiting for my whole life. It’s super soft and keeps me cool. When I lie down, I just melt into and fall asleep immediately. I am SUCH a picky person when it comes to pillow but this one is IT. Washing is easy with the removable cover. I love how versatile it is also. Overall, get it—you won’t regret it!

The Plufl Human Dog Bed and Hugl Cooling Body Pillow are game changers when it comes to comfort. The Plufl is not only fun, but can make a great "guest bed". I know that my gradchildren would LOVE them. The Hugl is maybe one of the best things we've ever gotten. It really does keep you cool, and the improvement in sleep for our daughter has been phenomenal. It also works great as a back rest for watching TV and eating in bed.

I love my Hugl! It's everything that brand said it would be - and more! It's exceptionally well made and so comfy.

Customer service is A+++ I definitely would do business with the brand again.

This is a follow-up to my earlier review, after having (finally, on November 8th, over two months after having ordered it on September 4th) received the XL Plufl I ordered.
The product itself seems high-quality, and following the included assembly instructions was easy. It's comfortable enough to sleep on without additional padding, and the faux fur cover is quite soft. I can genuinely say that the Plufl itself is worth the money you'd spend on it.
That said, this isn't a review of JUST the product, otherwise it'd be a 5-star review. This company seems to think it's a good idea to keep people who ordered from them completely out of the loop in regards to any potential delays, whether that's due to low stock, port strikes, or any other issues.
When someone pays you for a product, and you can't deliver within the window stated at time of order, YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEM, not wait for them to contact you with a "Where's my product?" email.
As of writing this, Plufl STILL has not sent out the email the CX rep I spoke with said the company was working on about the delays on the XL Plufl.
If the company had any form of proactive communication with customers other than marketing emails, this would've had a 5-star review. Instead, it took constant submissions to their "Contact Us" page to get ANY information about the delays, and a 1-star review to get the CEO of the company to send an email that FINALLY contained any information on when I should expect the product I ordered.

So, ultimately, I would recommend the XL Plufl as a product. I would not recommend Plufl as a brand, as getting any information from them in the event of anything unexpected happening is akin to pulling teeth from an uncooperative alligator. If they learn to actually proactively communicate when something unforeseen happens (and not lie to cover their own backsides when contacted with concerns about delays), then I might consider ordering from them in the future.

We love our Plufl Bed! Super comfy. The kids especially like using it for sleepovers in their big sister's room.

I bought and received an extra large plufi. I STILL can't put it together and the company refuses to take it back. Right now, it's in pieces in my basement. Don't waste your money. If you hate it, it's yours. Never dealt with a company with no return policy

The Hugl is such an Amazing product! I got one for my wife, and she cannot sleep without it anymore. The added support and cooling fabric give her a great night's sleep. I would highly recommend it.
