I’m beginning to think this is a scam

I’m beginning to think this is a scam. I made a withdrawal of over £200, and 6 months later I still haven’t been paid. If this is what’s happening to my money, it makes me question if the charities are actually receiving anything either. I’d rather WeAre8 just be honest if I’m not going to receive my payment.

Zero payments since July 2026

Should be able to give this company zero stars. Taking money and not following through with paying out to viewers and no doubt scamming charities as well
Yet another day, another email and no reply. Will continue to email and write reviews so people can see the true side of the company

Did start out ok until last year

Did start out ok until last year. I’m Still waiting on payments from August last year. After numerous emails Been promised next day payment that was over a month ago still nothing and no longer responding to my emails. I would not recommend and would say avoid.

Would give zero if I could

Would give zero if I could. I’ve had payouts over due for over 6 months, payouts of only £1! Ignored my messages I’ve sent asking what’s happening & now sending me across more adverts to view! This is a corrupt & scamming company who are lying about giving money to charity - they are just pocketing it themselves. They need serious investigation, they are breaking their own terms & conditions! Absolute disgrace & disguising company

Been waiting for payment since 2025…

Been waiting for payment since 2025 contacted the customer service team via email and response is we are working on it. Recently sent a message on instagram and commented on post and in return they blocked me. That is ridiculous this has become a scam! Don’t waste your time doing the ads they are making money but wont pay us.

After a few months I finally received my cash.We are 8 staff was very professional and explained all reasons for delays. Don't loose your hope you will get paid.Thank you We are 8 team!!!Great experience!!!

Stopped paying out users

Used to be great but no payout in over 4 months. Stopped wasting my time on watching the new videos until payout is received, I suggest you do the same. It’s a shame because it was so good going back a few year ago.

Non payment dating back 7 months

Non payment dating back 7 months. Cashed out 3 times, received no payments. Not answering emails. Posted on community comments asking politely if there was a problem with payments, and my comment was removed as it violated their terms and conditions! Would also like to know if the charities are getting their payments as some people prefer to give money earned to the charities rather than take it themselves. Do the advertisers know that payments are not being given. Cadburys must be paying them a lot at the moment. Obviously there are problems at weare8, just be open about it and have the decency to be honest to those who have supported you.

I think their model isn’t working. Long payment delays

Now waiting 8 weeks since a requested payout. Keep being told they are “doing things differently” and that they are experiencing payment delays to be able to pay their users.
Guys, if you are working with brands like HMRC, Cadbury etc but aren’t able to pay your users for their services and money owed, you have more than a little problem.
Very disappointing

Have sent queries regarding pending…

Have sent queries regarding pending payment from Aug ‘25. Finally received reply ‘Rather than send another generic response, I want to be transparent. We’ve been experiencing ongoing delays in payments coming into us, which has had a knock-on effect on some payouts going out. That’s the underlying reason for the delay you’re seeing.
We’re currently in the process of securing additional funding to stabilise this, and payments are being released in batches as funds become available. I’ve added your account to our priority list so that as soon as we’re able to approve the next round of payouts, yours will be included’, yet have seen other posts to say backlog in PayPal payments getting processed, so what correct. Also saw on here someone said their payment from Oct had cleared, yet I’ve been waiting since Aug. Be interesting to know if they have rec’d funds from the advertisers, if they know the ppl watching videos aren’t getting the reward. Weare8 have contract on their site-not adhering to it

Non paying site

Used to be quite good but although they r being paid from the companies they r not forwarding this onto us , been almost two months now with no payment and they don’t answer any emails . Very poor sight to say the least

Don't bother

Really good when they first started loved the fact I could earn and have my earnings taken off my EE bill. When this stopped the payments were sporadic. Id receive payment within a few days the a few weeks I've now been waiting a few months for a payment. They simply say they are experiencing difficulties. They are a bit of a joke now

Scam?

This company no longer pays out for watching ads as described. I have payments “pending” going back in October 2025. Emailed them and they said they are being paid. That was 2 months ago..
