This is the second time I’ve used Watmore’s for soil and their service is second to none. I ordered compost to be delivered on a day of my choice, and the operative gave me a courtesy call beforehand to notify me of a delivery time. They even filled my sleeper bed with the compost saving me a massive job! Would highly recommend - thanks again for such excellent service 👏🏼

Order manure for delivery.
Spoke to someone on delivery day, to check what time it might be delivered as it was getting late, he said that will check with driver and will ring me back in 5 minutes one hour past no reply. I rung again he said same thing will ring office and ring back in 5 minutes which he never did.

Ordered a bag of soil as my 4 year old is constantly digging holes and 'laying pipe' in my front garden, and he wanted a real 'grabber' truck to come to our house. The guys in the office were lovely and helpful, and the fella who dropped it off was brilliant with my little one, showed him the controls on the truck and listened to him jabber on about all the 'work' he had to do in the garden. The soil seems great quality... It was steaming and his wellies now smell delightful so I think they're good signs. We'll be back for some turf once the pipes in my garden are in!

Woodchip for kids play area came on the day and time they said it would. The lady in Facebook was very responsive and helpful. Only slight issue was I asked for the tonne bag to be put on the left hand side of the drive so I can get my car out and they dumped it in the middle. Other than that they were great

Ordered topsoil to fill my new raised beds. Rob the delivery man, rang me when he was about to leave the depot to let me know approximately how long he would be, then rang me when he was 5 minutes away. Dumped the soil into each of the beds so I don’t have to barrow it in. Really great service and looks great rich compost/ topsoil.
Rob was the most helpful delivery guy I’ve ever dealt with. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered some compost, got a call on the day with a time slot. Driver was on time, helpful and tipped it where I wanted. Great experience, easy communication and will definitely come back again.

Ordered manure. They phoned me at 4pm on delivery day with some story about "the lad" not being there. Promised next day. Did not turn up. Promised next Saturday. Did not show up. After the next Saturday I asked for a refund. Boss contacted me said he thought the delivery had been completed. Promised to deliver Saturday. Guess what. Did not show up. Only positive is that they did then do an immediate refund. So not crooks just incompetent.

Rob, the delivery driver was the most helpful delivery person I've ever met! He dropped the soil over the garden wall, directly onto the flower bed saving me hours of drudgery! I can't praise or thank him enough!

Watmore's is a local company. We are a preschool group based in the same village. we enquired on Monday about a delivery of soil. It was all organised and delivered today (Thursday). The soil was good quality and bagged into smaller sacks so it was easier for us to handle. The company refused to take any payment, donating the soil for the children to play with. We are very grateful for this kind gesture.

We had two bulk bags of Seasoned hardwood delivered yesterday, driver very helpful and put them nearer the log store for me for easy access as I have just had a baby. Used them last night on our log burner amazing lots of heat from them. 10/10 definitely would recommend and will be ordering again

Ordered bulk bag of supposedly ‘kiln dried’ hardwood logs. Given date for delivery but heard nothing more. Just after noon on delivery day, I emailed asking if they had a rough idea when to expect delivery, I had a reply back saying it would be later that afternoon. Delivery finally arrived around 6/6.30pm, the driver apologised saying the owner had forgotten about it and he had been asked to deliver our order at the last minute. The wood itself is dreadful, I highly doubt it is <15% moisture as advertised. Copious amounts of firlelighters are required to get it to light and stay alight, the wood gives off thick black smoke and the house absolutely stinks of smoke. Without doubt the worst wood we have ever used, will not be using Watmore turf again.

Reasonable prices, quick delivery and Kelly is a superstar, nothing too difficult for her and so friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Use Watmoresturf every year for logs. This year I asked if possible to deliver to back garden gate and they got it right there which made my life so much easier. Their logs are great and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Highly recommend

I’ll start with the positives, brilliant response times to messages and queries and the price was good and the delivery was quick.

I ordered top soil, as it was described by them. What arrived was compost which has been treated, full of bits of extra stuff. I queried it with them and said it was compost not top soil, their response was “Mix of all sorts” no attempt to discuss, explain or help.

Turf was delivered on one of the hottest days of the year and still completely fresh a beautiful green we got it straight down within a week it was already rooted. Excellent mix of grass nice and thick watered like they said now have a garden the kids can play in!
