We love our water babies lessons because they feel so personable and fun! Our little boy has been going since he was 4 months old and initially I thought he wouldn’t take much on but to see his confidence grow was absolutely amazing and now at 21 months he is so confident and much more competent than I ever could have expected at this age which is totally reassuring when it comes to being around water at any time. Lucy has always been kind, patient and reliable and is great with my little boy and he loves his lessons. They are fun, but the class group is never too big so it always feels like you’re getting a good amount of time in the pool and doing different skills. We love our lessons and never want them to end!!

We have been swimming with water babies since my little one was 4 months old! The skills we have both learnt have been invaluable! We have had numerous different teachers in the 3 years we have been swimming and each one has been fantastic!

Our 7 month old son has been going to water babies since he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it. He’s so confident in the water already and has no fear going underwater or having water on his face (unlike his mummy who hates water splashing and can’t swim lol) which is my husband takes him so he doesn’t have a fear of it like me. The class is very good and the instructor Alison is fantastic with him, she also knows some sign language too which is amazing as our little guy is profoundly deaf so can’t wear his aids in the pool. He gives the biggest smile when we walk into the changing room to go to the pool as he now knows where he’s going so I know he really loves it.

Brilliant lessons. We did them with my daughter and had such a great experience we have now started my son. Different pool and teacher but equally as great. Friendly, enthusiastic and fun. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Laura and the team are fantastic, they really brought Islas confidence along with the water. Cannot fault them.

My son had lessons in Tottenham with Water Babies from 9 months through to 6 years old. The classes are fantastic. All of the teachers are well qualified and make the lessons fun while still teaching core safety and technique and building confidence in the water. After finishing at Water Babies and joining a new course at a local leisure centre, he was noticeably more confident and able to swim further than most others in the class the same age.

Having just had a conversation with a very close relative, I thought that this cannot go unanswered.
A man tries to take his daughter swimming, the lessons had been prepaid, only to find there were no appropriate changing facilities to change his daughter who is 18 months old. Having informed the venue at the time the reply was oh well. You can change her in the gentleman’s changing rooms or in the toilet. At no point should this have been an option. It is degrading for the child to have to go through a situation like this.
Who in their right mind would change their daughter, no matter what age in front of them of unknown strange men. This again should never be an option,
When taking this up with a female manager, today, the attitude of this female manager leaves a lot to be desired. Even going so far as to say that there are not that many men taking their daughters swimming any, so they don’t need to allow for this situation.
The whole attitude of this situation stinks
Head office has been sent an email, the reply beggers belief, they couldn’t care less that this has happened. Needless to say they will never be recommended to anyone who I come in contact with.
If it were possible to leave a minus star I would have
Avoid like the plague
This happened at the Llanelli venue

Went to take my little girl to swimming lessons in the everlast gym in Llanelli. I don’t like to get her changed in the men’s changing room for obvious reason and I usually use the single baby changing facility they have available to men to get her ready. Baby change was out of order. So my options were to change her in the men’s locker room where there’s no cover or to change her on the floor of the toilet. Absolutely disgraceful. £175 a term for swimming lessons and almost no accommodation for dads with little girls. My little girl was very upset. How can something like this be allowed. If you’re going to host swimming lessons for baby’s and toddlers then you need to have the correct facilities in place.
We called water babies to inform them of the situation and to let them know that the manager of the gym said it had been broken for a few weeks and that he didn’t know when it was going to be fixed. He also said that “it’s not usually an issue because the mums usually take the kids to swimming lessons” which is a crazy thing to say. Obviously this venue was no longer an option for us. We were unfortunately met with a complete lack of understanding from the lady we spoke to at waterbabies. She suggested that it was fine for me to change my little girl in the men’s changing room with no cover because she’s only a little girl and not an adult…. dumbfounded by this. You’d think that a company that deals with toddlers and babies would be more sensitive to these kinds of issues and situations but no. Anything to not give a refund so that we can afford to take her to a more suitable location for her lessons. What a shame.

My son absolutely loves going to Water Babies, and the staff are brilliant. He’s really enjoying learning to swim in such a safe and welcoming environment. It’s also lovely to meet other parents while he gets to socialise with other children. We’re really enjoying the experience!

We’ve had a really positive experience overall and are very grateful for the time, care and confidence Waterbabies have given both our girls in the water.
They have both been swimming with Waterbabies from just a few months old, and we’re so happy that we chose Waterbabies to introduce them to swimming and help them develop such important water safety skills.

Me and my daughter both love it Claire is amazing, weve been going since my daughter was 4 months old (shes now 2 months off 3 years old), unfortunately we are having to leave waterbabies as my daughter is going to nursery and the alternative class times dont work for us, would 100% recommend as soon as you are able (after baby is born)

Quinns love going to swimming lessons, she always excited when she see the pool. She’s getting along well with every teacher she have.
I can see the difference in her from day one and I am amazed by how well she does.

Amazing progress made. Teacher is so good with the children get to know them all. My little boy adores her and always talk about her. When he’s had the water wobbles she’s given advice and told us what to do whilst reassuring us.

Natalie and B are fantastic, enthusiastic and reassuring when it comes to ensuring parents-grandparents are comfortable with what is required. My 10month nearly 11months has been attending now for 4 months and she's growing in confidence and loves attending water babies- Doncaster.

My daughter is an incredible swimmer and my second is coming on really well. It’s not the cheapest but I’m really happy with the classes and feel like if you’re going to spend it anywhere this is a good reason!

Absolutely love how kind and friendly Jackie is. My daughter has been swimming with Water Babies for just over 18 months, and has progressed well. She enjoys the sessions. She is 2 years old and already has learnt some important safety skills in the water which is brilliant. Highly recommend swimming lessons

My daughter has been with Water babies since she was 6 months! She is now 3 and is thriving with her swimming abilities. My 6 month old son had his first lesson last week and his experience was positive too. Highly recommend. Fun, engaging lessons led by professional, knowledgeable teachers who put both babies and parents at ease ❤️
