Warkworth House Hotel
We wanted to stay in a dog friendly hotel in the Amble/Warkworth area and found this little gem. Right in the historical town of Warkworth Northumberland which is a lovely little hamlet/town with a castle and lots of amenities. The hotel is great and found most of the guests had brought their pets with them. Pets are allowed in all areas of the hotel which we found very helpful. Staff were very helpful with nothing too much problem. Well stocked bar. A must. Are very reasonably priced restaurant which served a varied menu that we found great. Easy walking in the area down to a lovely river with a beach within walking distance for active people or a short 5 min drive. Other beaches are 15 mins away. Really worth a visit. Not 5 start but the service you receive makes up for any little deficiencies you may encounter. Car park is small to the rear of the hotel but a large car park is in the Square a minutes walk away
