Max did an incredible job at recording some drums for a shoegaze and a grunge track.

Real versatile. Quick communication and great at following your general direction while adding his own personality and feel into what's recorded.

happy to tweak parts until you're happy and won't make you feel bad about it.

We use Want Drums for every peice of music we record. Max never fails to impress. Always done to a high standard and ahead of schedule.
We dont have a drummer or studio space to record loud instruments. It's a perfect fit sending max our music.
The quality of the audio is pro. Makes it very easy for any mix a master we do after.

Max is the best, plain and simple!

Max is simply brilliant - he has done several drum tracks for me now and effortlessly copes with any style/genre. Although drum software has come along way there is nothing like the sound and feel of drums played by a human - especially one as talented as Max. He always responds warmly to any suggestions and nothing is too much trouble. You get high quality studio recordings of each part of the kit including room/overheads. The price is very reasonable - you won’t go wrong using Max I highly recommend him.

Max is reliable, communicative, versatile and has very reasonable turnaround times… but most of all, provides stellar work whatever the genre and crucially, delivers beautifully captured multitrack files. Oh, and he has patience in spades for vague and fussy change requests! Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Overall my purchase was a great experience. Nothing to say on the negative side. Drums sound awesome! Playing is awesome! Things went about as well as I think could be possible.

Perfect the first time, as always with Max, very highly recommended.

Max delivers excellent service at very competitive prices, saves the hassle of hiring session drummers and his knowledge helps massively, would absolutely recommend him

Great service, excellent sound quality. Good understanding of different genres.

I love working with Max. He always delivers professional results in a timely fashion. Above all he has integrity, which is important to me when dealing with people. I look forward to working with Max many more times in the future!

A service I have used more than once,

Max is fantastic, very fast and very professional, drums are recorded beautifully

Max nails it every time. Simple as that. Quick, easy to work with, great ability, great sound. Doesn't over complicate - takes direction - offers up ideas... For as long as Max offers his services, we'll be using him.

What more can I say. Max delivers! He's a pleasure to work with and spot-on with every track. Five Star performances for each project!

Since using Max for the first time about two years ago, I have returned again and again. His recordings are organic and pure; the quality is mind-blowing. The process is so easy, too.

The first time I used his service, Max was professional in the way he communicated. The recording equipment is of the highest quality, and the stems were all individual, so I could always make my own adjustments later, should I need to.

Max is the real deal, and from my experience, I can see why he's the no.1 session drummer on the internet, by a long way!

You won’t be disappointed. 🥁
