I would gladly agree that without this community I would have settled for any mediocre job but the people in the WSO community have been awesome; we often say that excellence and aspirations rub off from fellow people with whom you live and that is what has happened for me in my journey with WSO so far.

I submitted to resume for review and within 48 hours heard back from a VP at a prestigious FIG group. He worked with me and personalized my resume to my liking in a format that is tried and true. Had the finished product in 5 days. Fantastic service for kids who don’t have a mentor they can use.

My 3 month stint at WSO has been excellent, I got to learn a lot of new concepts. The best part is the courses that they offer; industry experts teach them and they are to the point. Covering all the concepts in detail and well structured.
I had taken the DCF crash course which not only helped me in general but also for my end-term exams!

I would suggest the WSO courses to everyone who's looking to upskill and upgrade themselves with the latest concepts.

My mentor was extremely understanding of where I needed the most help, and took a step-by-step approach in walking me through the best ways to address my challenges. He was also kind enough to provide me with his recommended resources and introduce me to people that might be helpful for me to speak to.

This was a great educational and practice experience in prepping for a PE interview. It was definitely helpful to have a crash course on the history of PE and how PE works.

In terms of the technical skills: the LBO models from paper to full-out models, along with the cases, have helped me fill as prepared as I could ever be.

The mentor was extremely helpful in that he offered very practical advice and had a very relevant experience. Helpful resume review as well.

Great source of information about financial careers. Would be great to have more verified users contributing because sometimes it is hard to tell if a response is from an Analyst 1 or a random kid in college. Verified users still contribute invaluable information that is not available anywhere else, they make WSO a great resource for anyone interested in finance.

Signed up for the resume review but it took them about a week to match a reviewer after sending resume and answering questionnaire. It took another 1+ week to receive the 1st draft of revision from the reviewer. The whole process took more than one month! The communication/response was very slow and minimal.

Be honest about the turnaround time so your customers can have a better expectation.
