Difficult to work with generally and at the end the business account was closed by them. I asked specifically about whether certain transactions were allowed and they confirmed. Later it turns out they were not. There is also nothing in the terms and conditions about it which they pointed me to after the fact.
It seems to me they are untrained and there is no understanding among the staff what policies are. In the end it's the client that pays for this.
It would be acceptable if this was done in a professional manner but it was not.
Now not only did they close and the closure was due to their own inability to properly communicate policies but the charged me for closing the account and they removed all access altogether so I could not even retrieve the statements that I need for my business.
This could be due to the individual rep that was assigned to me who was a bit difficult to deal with from very beginning or it could be a company issue. It seems it's a combination of the two.
Later I did also notice they hide fees in the statement. For example when you make a payment via card they show only the payment and fx conversion fees are charged separate (hidden in the statement).
Also reading other reviews I am a bit glad this happened as it seems they don't have good controls on card spending and it appears their system is very vulnerable. There are reviews talking about account going into major negative debit due to cards overdrawing after being compromised. In this day and age and considering these are debit cards that is totally unacceptable.
In any case stay away. Keep your funds at safer places. There are much better providers than Wallester - Revolut, Equals, Wise etc

As a licensed financial institution, we are required to follow strict regulatory and compliance standards. This means that in certain situations, we must review how an account is being used and, if we cannot confirm that activity aligns with regulatory requirements or provided business information, we may be obligated to close the account. These decisions are never taken lightly, and we follow the same procedures for all customers to ensure fairness and compliance with industry standards.
Regarding fees, the account closure fee follows our publicly available Price List and applies uniformly in all closure cases. Nevertheless, we are continuously working on making our communication and fee presentation clearer so our clients always know what to expect.
We are also concerned to hear that your experience with our communication and support was not as smooth as it should have been. Your feedback is being shared internally so we can strengthen training, improve clarity, and ensure better consistency across our team.
Although access to the online dashboard is removed after account closure, our Support Team remains fully available to provide any account statements or documents you may need. Please feel free to contact them at support@wallester.com, and they will assist you with all required information.

Well then my account manager got switched to Jevgeni, and he did an amazing job! I got my issues resolved fast, easy and without any pressure attached, thats how customer support should be!
