Not pleased with false claim.
The advertisement for the booking claimed my credit card would not be charged until closer to my trip. However, my credit card was charged immediately. I was not happy about that, but I wanted to confirm the stay that I booked.

Too many needless notifications
Too many needless notifications. Once I've confirmed I don't need to hear anything from VRBO except for information specific to my reservation. At the same time, I don't like having to wait until just 3 days before my booking to get the actual address of the place I booked.

Warm and fuzzy experience
The house was located on a quiet street and not far from a grocery store and a bunch of restaurants. The hosts were charming as well and the apartment was just as described.

The room we had in the Pacific Shores…
The room we had in the Pacific Shores was not clean: frig door had food in handle; there was left over ice cream container in the freezer; there was popcorn under the bed. The elevator floors were quite dirty. As well there was quite a bit of noise during the night.

Questionable Charges
As I mentioned in my previous email I am still not sure why I got charged for an extra person. Looking at the advertisement for the suite it says that the suite is beloved by couples. I could not find anywhere that said that the suite was only for one person?
The explanation that I got was that the extra charge
was because there was more laundry involved? I was also told by the host that I should contact VRBO directly and VRBO said I should contact the host? Seems like no one wants to take responsibility? I would really like this dubious charge to be reversed. I have used VRBO many times over the years but will be very reluctant to use them again?
