Rotten to the core, zero management at Singapore Post

In a short span of 10 months, Singapore Post's vPost forwarding service has damaged 12 parcels.

Not only did they refuse to compensate me for the last two parcels they damaged, a nasty customer service staff - Jill De Real, decided to change my parcel status from "ready to ship" to "prohibited".

The item is a food storage container which vPost previously shipped. Out of the blue, she claims my items are too "fragile" and "dangerous" to ship.

Nowhere does it state in their list of restricted items or FAQ that you cannot ship glass because it is one of the most common material used in everyday life.

I e-mailed Singapore Post CEO Paul Coutts since April and not only has he been ignoring my e-mails, unable to do a simple job and afraid of a customer's problems which are cause by Singapore Post, he decided to ban my e-mail address in September.

I am still corresponding with the next person in line after the useless CEO at Singpost.

Another negative review for the same…

Another negative review for the same item to hopefully get this vendor's attention, as it seems to only respond to customer s through this site when people leave negative feedback. I have tried to contact you, have sent email, and another review down below, and STILL no response?! Please investigate my issue and remedy it ASAP. My package ID is QSS0003265. I first was told that it couldn't come to Australia because it was deemed "dangerous(!)" (it's a watch), so I tried re-directing to a US address. When I entered a verified US address and paid for the re-direct, I then got an email that it was "cancelled due to invalid address"...and this was an address that a relative provided as their mailing address. To make matters worse, I can't even go in a try to re-direct again...so the item is just sitting in a US warehouse and I may eventually lose it. Please fix this now, tell me how to get my item to my original destination of Australia OR a redirect US address. Thank you.

Poor customer service

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I have been a customer of yours for 9 years and send SO many parcels via your services each month and have spent so much money with you over the years.

I had some glasses delivered to your warehouse in the UK and because you didn't log all of the glasses at once I only had one box sent and thought this was all of them. I spent $177 on that shipping and the box arrived and was a huge box with two smaller boxes and loads of paper. It could have been in a much smaller box. Then a few days after the first box you logged in two more boxes and are now trying to charge me another $400 to send those glasses.

I then have called on a number of occasions saying I want those glasses repacked into smaller boxes. I am not paying total $600 for some glasses to be sent here! Also if you had logged all of the boxes together and I saw the total shipping bill I would have sent them back!

I've also seen how the first lot of glasses were packed and the box size is ridiculous. I have said if any are broken then that is my problem.

I have called about this countless times, then followed up with numerous increasingly irate emails and you ARE COMPLETELY IGNORING ME!!!!!!!!

A loyal customer of 9 years who spends A LOT of money with you and you are treating me in a wholly unprofessional and arrogant manner. You don't just ignore longstanding and loyal customers.

Get the boxes repacked - they are my glasses and I decide how they are to be packed!!!! Send me a reasonable shipping rate and get them to me.

Also you are now charging me storage for these glasses (which I won't be paying) as it is your fault you are ignoring me!!!

Also get someone to call me. AM OVER IT!!!!!!

Worst experience ever and zero customer service

I have tried to contact vpost through hotline, live chat and message for multiple days multiple times, but there is just no one responding to my request - always have over 100 cases before me, the call never got picked up. I wonder if they actually have a customer service team. I have used it a couple years ago and had very bad experience (inflated volume metric and charges), but at least I could still talk with the customer service team via phone calls, and this time they just DISAPPEAR!

Overcharges by inflating volumetric weight, really terrible customer service

I had a number of small packages sent to Vpost US warehouse, and I became suspicious when the volumetric weight claimed by Vpost was vastly higher than what the merchant told me the shipping parcel size was.

I asked Vpost to provide photographic evidence from the warehouse about the actual parcel size (to prove that their volumetric weight is accurate) - of course, Vpost took 3-4 days before acknowledging ("we have sent your request to the relevant team") and then ... radio silence.

Eventually I could not wait anymore and I shipped the items - using economy instead of standard shipping as I refused to be ripped off by Vpost.

When the parcels arrived, I measured each parcel one by one and was shocked by just how alarming vposts' inflated volumetric weight and overcharge was:
- of 5 parcels, 4 of them were inflated
- one example: the actual shipped box was 0.432kg in volumetric weight. Vpost claimed and wanted to charge 2.3kg in volumetric weight. That's 500% inflation!

I reached out to Vpost (along with actual photographic evidence on my part measuring the parcels), but as usual, it will probably take a month or two before anyone from vpost does anything with it..

I have been using vpost for many years and, shame on me, for not realising just how much I had been overcharged by vpost all these years.

Remember - double check the volumetric weights from vpost and hold vpost to task for inflating volumetric weights yet not providing ANY photographic proof of parcel size / condition arriving at their warehouses.

Vpost lost my package at the Australian…

Vpost lost my package at the Australian warehouse. Australia Post has provided me with the details that the package was delivered on 13th Aug. When I contacted Vpost and responded to their email with my purchase invoice and proof of delivery, they wanted to know the name of the person who received the parcel. Australia Post only told me their driver gave the parcel to a man, I don’t know anymore than that. I am sure Vpost can check with the time and date of delivery that was given. I have not heard anything from Vpost since then and it has been more than a month. Tried calling customer service but after waiting for 20 minutes on the line I decided to hang up and write this instead. Somebody has to take responsibility for my lost package.

A fraud through and through

A fraud through and through. There is absolutely zilch customer service to speak of here, 2 hours waiting time and on the phone line to get through to no one. To add insult to injury, they added a whopping 9.6 kilos extra to my parcel that only weighs 3.3 kg then charge me close to 200 SGD to have my parcel delivered from Taiwan.

Vpost CS is so bad that they can't trace lost packages delivered to their Portland warehse. It been delivered there for almost 2 weeks and till now they have no clue whatsoever happen to that shipment. I have proof that the Portland warehse ppl have received the packages. Not the first too. Will stop using Vpost that this incident.

Vpost is not able to attend to Customer…

Vpost is not able to attend to Customer feedback adequately. Keep sweeping matters under the carpet. Despite my multiple requests, they did not provide proof that they have made valid efforts to update me about the change in UK warehouse, even though they claimed they did SMS, email and update on their website. If there was, it must be in their archive. Do not expect users to browse your website every now and then to check on our addresses if we don't use your delivery service on a daily basis.

We understand the timing of the change should be well managed; however, our warehouse team have done the necessary pick up despite shifting to a new warehouse .and will have process the package if was received in the old address. we will need POD confirmation as per our t&c that show that item was received and signed by our staff

I am really upset by Vpost

I am really upset by Vpost. I had 3 parcels shipped via Vpost and 1 was missing from the Popstation storage box. I am not sure how this could happened when all boxes are secured with passwords.

Tried contacting the customer service but was told to call back next days as the Vpost staff are off duty.

Who can I trust if even our national postal service can fail in their most basic service delivery.

Hope they can give me a satisfactory answer by the end of the week.

Update: Vpost called to inform the next day that they have misplaced the parcel into a another box. Luckily the parcel was found but I cannot help but wondered what if the parcel was collected by someone else. Scary experience.

Reliable and not expensive. Tracking could have been better, online tracking showed my parcel was in Narita when it fact it was delivered. Parcel was from the US. Dispatched on 1 Jul, delivery was stated ETA 7-14 Jul, parcel arrived on 7 Jul.

The Worst Customer Service

Prior to ordering an item I called VPost customer service and gave them the exact dimensions and the exact weight of the item. I was quoted $22.85. ‘Are you sure’ I questioned more than once. Yes was the definite answer.
Based on this information I placed the order for the item. When it arrived at the warehouse the charges were almost $300!
I contacted Vpost and requested a supervisor call me. I spoke to Arvind this evening who was rude and blamed me for calling Vpost to confirm the cost when I should have used the information on their website! (Even though the website does state please call us…….)
He listened to the recording of the call with the original associate and agreed that I had several times confirmed the price. He simply didn’t care and wasn’t interested in trying to provide me with any sort of solution whatsoever other than :‘return the parcel to the vendor or we can let it sit in the warehouse and charge you $1.50 per day after 30 days of storage.’ What sort of solution and ownership to the problem is that?!
Disgusting customer service. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I get that mistakes happen and clearly this was a mistake but you need to own it!

I bought a English tea set from ebay 2 weeks ago and request my seller shipped it to their UK warehouse. After waiting for 1 week the item has yet reflected in my vpost account then I contacted the live agent - Mohit. This guy gave me an standard answer due to covid shipment might delay and just ask me to wait for another few days more instead of assist me to check till I insisted him to open a case to investigate and i was was told to wait for another 3 working days, so 3 days later another officer - Hasan emailed me and informed me my item was not received as all the parcel they received on the same day has been tagged and he asking me to get signed proof of delivery from seller. I have no choice but to refer back to the seller then they gave me a tracking records shown it was successfully delivered so I sent it back to Vpost n till now I have not received any update for them. It was really ridiculous I was surprise they don't even bother check their CCTV or trying to locate my parcel as it might be misplaced by their warehouse guy? I really cant believe a forwarder can be so irresponsible. Please think twice if you want to use their forwarding service. Everything is on your own risk.

I feel disgusted when read the below respond by vpost. Firstly I did send them the consignment proof shown the warehouse address is correct and I have another 2 parcel from UK was successfully delivered using the same shopping platform. Secondly their customer service contacted me and told me vpost practice that all big parcel will be received and signed off as BULK not received by someone called BULK. LOL

Using V-Post more than 6 years and sent thousands of item and I will stop using it.
Items stuck in the warehouse for 1 month because the items has removable battery. Call, email and on-chat to beg the warehouse to remove the batteries for the last time but they just simply replied they are not unable to do even the customer service already promised to help but they cannot help. Warehouse is the King in the company. Hopeless!! Will use other company like stackry. They have no problem to handle.

Vpost is expensive, slow and unreliable

Vpost is expensive, slow and unreliable. I placed a shipment order from US to SG on 22 Mar, and a delivery date range of 29 Mar to 6 Apr was given. Rate of $18 was charged for a package no heavier than 500g. However my package spent 5 days in transit in LA and the last 6 days in transit in Taiwan. No way package will be delivered by tomorrow. For the price I paid, I could have gotten my package delivered in 1/3 the time with Ezbuy. Never again. Perfect example of uncompetitive company. No edge. Should have known from the wholly unprofessional website.

Worst Experience of My Life

First, VPost lost my item which I shipped back from the UK.

They were late to inform me that it was lost and I had to chase them over months to confirm where my item was. They also kept delaying in their replies to my emails and were very deceitful in their dealings with me.

Examples of them being dishonest is firstly, they informed me that they will get back to their manager and call me back by 6pm. When I did not receive a call at 6pm, I called them back and was then informed that I would get a call by 9pm by the manager. Then no call again, I called once more, they informed me that the managers leave work by 5pm. Therefore I can conclude that they just kept lying to me that they are doing any work just to get me to hang up. They gave me false information multiple times and were straight up incompetent.

Beyond that, after having to chase them multiple times over the months and never ever being given a response within their stipulated times or promises, they have also not refunded me my costs in spite of being late.

They owe me close to $300 for losing my item, and they informed me that the refund has been improved at the start of January and was told that it would be transferred by 4 WORKING WEEKS. Still nothing after 7 weeks.

On 6th Jan, I received an email that all my documents have been processed and I will get a response within 3 working days. Still received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

End January, I called again, they informed that my money will be credited by first week for February, yet still not updates.

Absolutely abhorrent behaviour from VPost. Not just the fact they are horribly incompetent and never ever fulfill any of their promises. They are also slow to reply and respond, never ever give any updates, extremely expensive and don't even have the courtesy to own up to mistakes. Don't bother emailing them as they do not read their emails. Don't ever trust what any of their agents say as they are all just trying to get you to hang up. The worst thing about them is that they are not even refunding me my money. $300 is not small change and the fact that they are so late with their payment has led to alot of distress in my life.

Deeply regret ever using their services. Worst experience ever.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I have decided to ship my belongings in my apartment back from US due to COVID-19. As I hired a mover to pack my stuff, some partially dangerous goods were packed inside my luggage. I gave repeated instructions to vPost via the chat function (Mohit, Anand and Shashank) to dispose these items. But after 3 weeks, the items have still yet been disposed and I receive the same emails from vPost to contact their customer service.

If I can, I would have left a zero star.... can’t believe there is so many people with bad experience! This is the first time I ever think there is a need to leave a review. So people doesn’t fall for it ever! So I bought just one soft toy that weighs 450g from Amazon Japan. I was shocked that I was charged with a shipping fee of $111 for one one small soft toy. The worse of all was that in the system it stated that my item weighs 6.6kg! Can you believe it?! How good they are at claiming the item is charge “volumetric weight”! Wow! And I told them that I’ve bought the exact same item from eBay Japan. I was only charged $15 usd for the postage. Zzzz..... can you see how much they are overcharging for the shipping..... I have bought from China Taobao many times over the years! I bought 20 items without ever being charge more than $30! No such things ever that they charge volumetric weight! My items was bulky like a big rock... then when I called into their customer service hotline. I called them 8 times! Because they wasn’t clear with their work! I was told that I can request for a repackaging. First Lady was telling me she would make the request for me... then she called me to say that I will need to apply it online on my own... then I realized there is no such options online for me to request for repackaging. Then when I called again for help... I was told that the request can only be done through phone call...! Then after holding the line for a short while. I was told again that I should apply online! Omg! This is driving me crazy. First is the drama from the shipping fee and the crazy increase of weight! Then is the drama with the customer service. Thanks for ruining my day! Say goodbye to my favorite toy! :’(
