Fantastic

Absolutely overwhelmed by the help

Absolutely overwhelmed by the help, nothing was to much trouble for these guys who really know there stuff and whats what.
Very well stocked from floor to ceiling cars, trucks, 4x4s and crawlers, something for everyone, not forgetting parts and accessories with a hands on team to repair your models big or small. Very impressed with the whole set up, would love to see them in some of the large toy stores, that would be great.

Ordered part

Ordered part Wednesday 18th march and paid for next day delivery. It didn’t turn up. Emailed on Friday 20th March as it still hadn’t shown up. I received an email the next day saying they haven’t got it from distributor but when have will knock off the delivery charge.
On Monday 23rd still no item has been delivered but checked my bank and the full amount has been deducted from my account?? It’s now Wednesday 25th March and still nothing has been delivered. 😔 And then get an email to review ????

Communication works wonders

So I left an honest review based on how I had been dealt with as a customer the car I purchased is a great car however the servo came faulty. So after trying for around 4 weeks to get something sorted there was no response so I went and purchased a new servo and put it in I left a 1 star review purely because there was no response however yesterday being 2/04/26 I got a phone call from Jack at voltage models who explained regardless of any circumstances that was completely unacceptable because they are doing a lot of upgrading around the business. So he apologised profusely and right there and then fully refunded and then some the price of the servo of which I had to with proof of purchase of course to which I needed to edit my review I look forward to increasing my collection of cars and my daughters collection in the future and I do intend to use voltage models they made a mistake to which they fully put right. Voltage models has a vast array of stock to cover many platforms it’s definitely worth taking a look they are really good value for money that’s what drew me there in the first place.

I’m really sorry to read this — especially that you’ve had no communication back after emailing. That’s understandably frustrating.

If your item hasn’t been dispatched and you haven’t received tracking details, something has clearly gone wrong in the process. It could be:

A stock discrepancy

A payment verification hold

A dispatch delay

Or an email reply that hasn’t reached you

However, none of those explain a lack of response — and that’s the bigger issue here.

If you’re able to send your order number via direct message or contact the store again quoting it, we can:

Confirm immediately whether the item has shipped

Provide tracking details

Escalate it with the courier if needed

Or process a refund straight away if you’d prefer not to wait

You absolutely shouldn’t be left chasing for updates.

Apologies again for the poor experience so far — once we have your order details, this can be resolved quickly.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I recently placed and order online with order number 11398. I placed this order on 22 Feb. As mentioned in your website, shipping is Next Working Day Delivery With DPD and DHL. However, on the date of delivey, the DPD driver pressed the buzzer to my flat, I let him in. But he only went inside the lobby, took a photo of our lobby and claimed that there was no person to received the parcel. I was completely rushing down from my 5th floor flat to meet him as the lift were under maintenance. But I was too late. The DPD guy was gone and I am forced to schedule a pick up from one of the nearest DPD pick up lockers near me.

I contacted customer support and informed them regarding the issue. One of your representatives came back to me, apologized and advised me that parcel is set to be deliverd on the 26 Feb to the nearest DPD pick up locker. I waited the entire day for an email update but nothing came through. I was advised to get back to them if no deliveries were made. I got to them around 15:30 same day, no reply.

Tracking number showed that its in Dagenham depot and scheduled to be delivered today (26 Feb). But nothing came.

I sent an email complaint to DPD regarding this issue escalating their drivers' lack of professionalism and poor business practices.

Today, 27th Feb, I checked the tracking number and it's going back to Voltage Models. I do expect a full redund is automatically done by the system or whoever receives the item.

I have worked with HP before and I understand how merchants and couriers have their own B2B contract. But this experience has been extremely difficult and frustrating.

Firstly, I’m genuinely sorry to read this — I completely understand why you’re frustrated. What you’ve described with the DPD driver is not acceptable, especially when you were clearly at home and making your way down to receive the parcel.

To have the driver enter the lobby, take a photo, and then mark it as “no one available” is extremely disappointing. That isn’t the level of service we expect from our courier partners, and I fully appreciate how stressful and inconvenient this must have been — particularly with the lift out of service.

You were absolutely right to contact us, and I’m sorry if there was any delay in follow-up communication after Harrison initially responded. That’s not the experience we aim to provide.

Regarding the parcel now being returned to us — yes, once it arrives back at our warehouse, a full refund will be processed automatically. We do not hold funds in situations like this where the failure is delivery-related. If for any reason you would prefer a replacement sent via an alternative courier (for example DHL), we would also be happy to arrange that instead.

We are also raising this directly with DPD at account level. As you mentioned, courier relationships operate under B2B contracts, and formal complaints like this are taken seriously — especially where delivery conduct is in question.

Again, I’m very sorry this has been your experience. If you would like this resolved in a specific way (refund confirmation, re-dispatch, alternative courier, etc.), please contact us directly quoting your order number and I will personally oversee it.

New stock, just kidding have a refund

Had an email saying about new items in stock. Clicked the link. Placed an order online for an item that was in stock. I watched the item go out of stock the in the afternoon then following day so assumed they processed my order. Got a confirmation email of my order so assumed all was good. Waited patiently for delivery, gave them an extra day, then another extra day. No email or communication with me. Then on the third day of waiting for delivery I actually got a message from my funding source saying I had been issued a refund. No message or communication at all from voltage. No explanation or apologies. Did not inform me of the refund and have never messaged about this. Great customer service.
