Overpriced & poor value
VOI Aranella, Sicily.
A few good aspects but equally some quite poor. Good - food quality & variety; helpfulness of staff (sadly not some of the managers); evening entertainment; cleanliness & hygiene; ambience. Poor = petty bureaucracy from managers; no food available outside of restaurant hours unless you pay even on all inclusive even upon arrival; very limited drink options on all inclusive (no Prosecco or whiskey); only one of the 3 bars open during daytime hours is for all inclusive ( you have to pay at the others) with long queues with sometimes only one person serving; premium rooms with very basic furniture and weeds & cigarette butts all over the patio; located in the middle of nowhere so hire car a necessity. Over priced and not good value for what in essence is full board and certainly not the AI you are accustomed to in the Canaries.
