We have been constantly scammed since we started working with Viva.
This is the email I received from the representative in Portugal. It was on this basis that we decided to subscribe Viva services.
1. SEPA account with IBAN (Account without maintenance costs); - FALSE
2. Business Mastercard debit card delivered when opening the account. 5 years of validity without annual fees (for acceptance fee cashback); - FALSE
3. Exemption from expenses for transferring funds to bank accounts in Europe (SEPA transfer), with no limit on the number of transfers; - FALSE
4. The Terminal has no monthly fee (just make a minimum turnover of €2000);
5. Viva Payments acceptance service fee per transaction at TPAs;
the. Service fee for merchant debit/credit/contactless consumer cards (national/Cards) = 0.39%/0.49% (depending on Billing Volume) - FALSE
b. Service fee for merchant Debit/Consumer Credit cards (Visa/Mastercard rest of the world) = 0.55%/0.85% (depending on Billing Volume) - FALSE
Only point 4 is true. All the other are false.
1. We have to pay account maintenance costs;
2. We have to pay a monthly feed to have a Mastercard debit card;
3. We have a limit on the number of transfers;
5. We are paying about 0,70% for all payments, but work 99% with payments with nacional cards.
Plus, we are not able to add virtual card to Gpay. We have been complaining about this last issue for 4 months unsuccessfully. We just get cheap talk about "patience and understanding". 4 months! Aren't they ashamed?
I truly don't understand how can this financial institution been working within the EU. They just keep to fail to comply with the law with complete impunity.

They are fraudsters, they block your account from the "Risk" team and just not allow your withdrawal of funds.
I got contacted for some information on 11.10.24, which i provided the same day. To this day they still didn't even consider me even after asking normal support to wakeup the risk team.
They are holding my 3000 PLN in all this.... absolute scam, i know i will never see this money again

1-Was hacked, need the 2 step verification to unlock and use app/website but hacker was still able o withdraw cash money / transfers from accounts.
2-Am still waiting for the phone number change ever after giving the information mative required twice.
3-Have to pay a monthly fee, would rather do so with a physical bank in stead.
4-Some functionalities can only be done via website any way

I used viva for a year, both personal an professional accounts. Unfortunately, they have applied fees for Iban designators and the professional account (circa 25€ in total/month), so I decided to switch to another bank. Then, the chaos started, it's impossible to close my accounts, the charges are keep coming, Iban designators were enabled without authorisation etc and on top of that, poor customer support. At the end, it won't be a huge bill to pay, but all this is highly inconvenient. On the plus their systems were decent for a greek bank.
Update: I finally managed to close my professional account, but they would only refund my account only if it is active. This process though takes ages, and there is a rolling cost too. My advice - stay away
Update2: they are refusing to credit these amounts. Untrustworthy

Chat BOX : Oh my god. I lost almost 10 days trying to solve my problem, I talked to 20 people and all the process was a hugeeeee disapointment.
I am starting to search real banks to do my job.
Never again VIVA. I have to tell that to thousands entrepreneurs until they change their way of support.

So far all good.
A bit of background:
We set up Viva when we setup the Company, no website was set up yet.
They helped me setting up the whole account and approving. Only thing left to approve was reviewing the site and products.
I applied once the website was set up and they took 2 days to review it. No issues.
So far transactions are very low, so no payment holds. Also no chargebacks and no refunds with customers so no issues.
Settlements are same day (like within hours) and you can use their card to pay for things (we haven't yet but looking into this to use on META).
So far I recommend this company: good Customer Support, fast settlements, rates are normal (2-1% depending on the plan).
Writing this review because it was a nightmare to find a trustworthy processor and Viva was easy, quick and supportive.
I'm happy with them.
Whoever is having issues IMPORTANT:
Payment processors is a very important part of the business and you need to have proper relationship, communication and transparency with them.
Managing money is a very important and risky matter, respect their business and their respect yours.
Have a proper compliance systems set up and keep in contact with them whenever anything changes regarding payments.

The worst chat experience I have encountered throughout my career. During the first half-hour, the responses were irrelevant and repetitive, with the same questions being asked over and over. The customer service and technical support phone lines [+30 21 1760 4000, +30 21 1770 6900] are never answered, with wait times exceeding 60 minutes. I have been one of the company's first users since 2017. Unacceptable.

Nightmare company. I would give them -100 stars if I could - stay far away. They don't send any sales to MyData, despite claiming to do so. I reported this 6 weeks ago and they haven't solved it yet, despite my reaching out many times and spending more than 5 hours with their support. Being in touch with Viva support is like a full time job - Their chat support is useless and they reply every 10 minutes and leave the app or don't refresh the website every 2 minutes you have to start over. Worst experience I have had with any customer service.

Viva Wallet, customer service is terrible. It is impossible to talk to someone to explain a problem. I cant get user access for my accountant after 4 months of chats and emails. Also their advertised card transaction fees are not what is practiced. They sold us the product claiming transaction fees are around 1% plus 15 cents. When most transactions are being charged at more than 3%. They say it depends on the type of card but you have no way of knowing which type of cards attract what transaction fees. To lose 3% of your revenue just to make the transaction is way too big a hit for a small business. Sorry to have to go public, but if Viva Wallet would provide professional customer service you wouldn't be getting this review.

This company specializes to avoid talking to its customers. I had problem with their POS and messaged repeatedly their useless and STUPID BOT, I also emailed their non existing customer service, I asked again and again for the full name and phone number and email of the one responsible and I also filled their complaints form. On the phone I also had a terrible disrespectful experience and every time I had to wait endlessly listening to their music. This company should not exist in this century and if in Greece the system would function without corruption there should be penalties for such a practice that results in their customers loosing their reputation and money.

I have been a client since 2022. It was amazing at that time.
Cypriot IBAN, subaccounts, great support, no fees on incoming payments.
But now things have changed:
+ No IBAN any more (they charge 10€ per month per IBAN - I got several accounts, so that would mean a lot of money). I didn't get informed about that change. In contrary: I asked in the chat a few weeks ago, if anything changes for me as I realized new accounts don't get IBAN any more at all. And they said no, I still can use my IBAN.
+ They charge fees on everything. I tried to transfer money to my viva account privately -> 2,20€ fee
+ I transfer money out -> 0,80€ fee or 1,60€ for immediate transactions.
+ They didn't inform me about fees that arise as soon as you create a payment link (when creating such a link). And those payment fees aren't stated anywhere in the transaction. I've sent 80€ from my private account to viva and my balance on viva just says 77,80€. I see nowhere a fee of 2,20€, they just reduced my balance. Every accountant wants to see an invoice or statement for fees. There's no such one.
As long as you have no IBAN activated (10€ per month per IBAN), you can just receive money using their payment gateways - and that costs fees.
Further disadvantage (that I knew about before, but still is a huge disadvantage for business):
+ Very limited in incoming or outgoing transfers (max. 5.000€ per day, max. 10.000€ per week - can't be changed within the first 6 months at least - and even after that they didn't change it).
One positive thing remains: the support still reacts quickly and they accepted my account deletion immediately.
As long as their business model remains like this -> never again!

Viva promises you functions ( MOTO ) - and when you get their client they tell you its not possible - as you need to wait 6 months before you can supply again a request to get this function.
The employees do not even know how to answer correctly- when you ask for the reason.
The company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
If you have a matter - either you wait for hours in the hot line. And If you are lucky enough to reach someone - they tell you to go in the robot chat. Where you start a conversation which takes hours to start as they have always overload and then it takes hours to be solved, if you are lucky.

I'm writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Viva. While I initially appreciated their no-monthly-fee structure, my experience has been very bad.
Thursday night, and I received an email informing me of a critical account update. Shockingly, effective the following Monday (one business day later!), my current IBAN for receiving payments would be deactivated. There was no prior communication about this significant change, leaving me completely unprepared.
To maintain an IBAN for client payments, I'm now forced to pay a hefty €10 monthly fee. This is on top of the existing transaction fees they already charge. Additionally, basic customer support comes at an outrageous €5 per month! Without this fee, I'm relegated to unhelpful automated responses from a bot.
Upset by these unexpected changes, I attempted to move my money to another bank. However, their system inexplicably went down, offering only a generic "try again later" message. After verifying everything was in order on my end, I contacted customer support for assistance. Fourteen hours later, I've received no response.
I strongly advise against using Viva. Traditional banks with human customer support offer far better service and transparency. If you have significant wealth and enjoy a gamble, or are inexplicably locked into using Viva, proceed with extreme caution. Remember, if something seems too good to be true, it is because it probably isn't (good or true).
