A review 2 years along.

I have been with VAA (Visual-Artists.org) for 2 years, and it has truly been a game-changer for my career as an artist. The platform is incredibly supportive, offering a wealth of resources and opportunities that help artists thrive in the competitive art world. From helpful webinars and tutorials to insightful advice on marketing and business strategies, VAA covers all the essentials needed to navigate the industry successfully.

One of the best aspects is the supportive community of artists. It's refreshing to be part of a network where everyone is eager to share knowledge and encourage one another. Over the past two years, the mentoring program has been an invaluable source of guidance for me.

VAA also offers exposure opportunities that help get your work noticed, which is crucial for independent artists. The platform is well-organized, easy to use, and updated regularly with the latest industry news and opportunities. Overall, my experience with VAA over the last two years has helped me grow both artistically and professionally, and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about advancing their career.

Fantastic first impression of the VAA

Fantastic first impression of the VAA; I required Insurance for my art practice and was delighted to discover that they offered not only this, but membership with creative, career-related benefits in addition! Made my day! Thank you to the professional team for their guidance.

It’s a Scam

I think it’s a scam. I joined to get Public and Product liability for my art business. I’ve emailed, phoned and Facebook messaged - heard absolutely nothing from them. Really starting to think the whole thing is a total con.

VAA Masterclass: The Art of Networking

Fabulous session yesterday delivered by the VAA's Karen Van Hoey Smith and Paula Rubiano, seasoned art market professionals. Non-stop practical advice on pitching and relationship building, of course common aspects across business, but was really great to have it contextualised within the art market and builds confidence of approach. A handy review guide to download too post the event. A young member of this organisation but already receiving a great deal of value.

I joined the VAA earlier this year and have benefitted so much from their help and support. From fantastically informative webinars to opportunities and vital information it has been the most inspirational and motivational boost I needed for developing my arts practice. Most recently I attended a webinar on Crowdfunding; such a useful insight with really knowledgeable and approachable speakers. Highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVE the VAA - since joining I have grown in confidence as an artist. With easy to understand guides, tools and one to one support through help-desks as well as online webinars and masterclasses, the team at VAA is second to none. I love that they are all approachable and are a wealth of information. Their credibility is second to none. They’ve given me focus and helped me understand where I want to take my art practise.

Sharp and Incisive webinar. Thank you.

I have recently joined the VAA as a Premium member and today I tuned into the Instagram art sales webinar. It was exciting and encouraging but left me in no doubt that if I am going to make sales on the internet then I do need to think very carefully about how I present myself and how I how a develop a consistent and individual presence on Instagram. The speakers were absolutely on the ball and delivered a great seminar based upon their own experience. This was a wonderfully grounded and informative session. Thank you one and all. Nigel Hudson.

Joining the VAA has been a really good move and group, to be a part of- it has helped me formulate some of the ideas I had but had not put into practice.
Being an artist is hard and very isolating too so this is a very helpful group to be a part of. Many sessions bring about new ways to work and think and appeal after all life is a marketing strategy.

Hurrah for the Visual Arts Association NFT micro learning course. I found the VAA NFT micro learning…

I found the VAA NFT micro learning course amazing.
As always the facilitators were excellent, either creating NFT'S, or running sites, or market analysts.
So all the myths were busted, and it gave you confidence to step into the unknown.
Coupled with the additional course information available afterwards it was really worth the participation.
Once again, thanks for hitting the mark VAA!

Valuable Resource

I joined the VAA about a month ago and I'm so glad I did! A great resource of useful information and opportunities for artists. The strategy session hosted by Karen van Hoey Smith was extremely useful and I'm looking forward to the upcoming Masterclass on NFTs. I'm still fairly new to what's on offer but looking forward to seeing what's in the Vault and making the most of everything else that's on offer.

Strategy Session Review

It is such a positive experience being part of VAA and the recent strategy session attended with other artists and led by Karen van Hoey Smith was excellent. Inspiring and thought provoking the session has been a great support to 'keep going' and was a good taster to consider investing in the mentoring programme.

The VAA - an artist's life-line.

The webinar that took place today(17th Feb)concerning art fairs was simply brilliant. A gold mine of information and advice for all we stressed out artists. Joining the VAA is the best thing I've ever done. I very much feel that I'm among friends, and for an artist that's pretty important. May the association continue to go from strength to strength. It genuinely cares about its members. Thank you so much.
