So yes advice:- just get out of Singapore if your property lost and police contact you.

Hi, a canadian colleague recently lost her bag in Singapore. When she went to police to collect it the bag had been swab tested for drugs and she was told she would have to submit to drug tests. Her Chinese partner, a PRC police, resolved the issue but they left Singapore immediately.
The problem is: if Singapore police swab test lost property, foreign visitors need to consider leaving Singapore immediately if their property is lost or stolen.
Please advise within 48 hours so that my group of friends can delete Singapore from our itinerary if necessary. Thanks
