I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Visions Electronics. I bought a fridge from them three months ago, and they charged my credit card right away. However, the fridge was never delivered. I tried contacting their customer service multiple times, but I kept getting the runaround. Each time I called, I was either put on hold for ages or given vague excuses about delays.
What’s even worse is that no one seemed interested in resolving the issue or offering a proper solution. After three months, I’m still out of pocket, with no fridge and no refund. This is by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced, and I wouldn’t recommend Visions Electronics to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere!

Recently I purchased a garmin Fenix 7…
Recently I purchased a garmin Fenix 7 pro sapphire solar watch from vision electronics. I couldn’t be happier with the product and the relatively quick delivery. The price was comparable to other locations, however. They actually had it in stock. I was glad to purchase a product from a 100% Canadian owned company.
You can't trust their stock locations…
You can't trust their stock locations on their website. I ordered some TV's and frames which showed in stock everywhere locally. They ended up shipping from the other side of Canada so I cancelled my order. Lesson learned. False advertising as far as I'm concerned.
Purchased a 4k tv yesterday
Purchased a 4k tv yesterday. Called about a price online for an open box and was told they had one instock that had been a demo for a year and we could purchase that one or a new one for fifty dollars more. Excellent price match for new one.
Sam, the manager at 1510 Regent Ave. W in Winnipeg held it for us and started it up to make sure it all worked.
Feels good to buy from a Canadian retail store.
Worst purchase experience of my life.
Worst purchase experience of my life.
Ordered a product that was "IN STOCK" part of it arrived and the rest is on back order for 3 weeks.
The customer service people I spoke with were not helpful at all. I wasted 5 hours of my life on the phone trying to get the problem resolved.
Buy American, Support a Business That Cares
Purchased a 43” TV online which was on sale. I was sold on Price Protection Guarantees and the like. Then I find out the price dropped $50 after I purchased it so I put in a claim for the difference. Did a screenshot and recorded the URL like they require. Well they changed the price back, and asked me to provide an updated URL showing the price I claimed. I sent the screenshot but of course the URL had changed so they denied it. Sadly, there’s no provision to attach screenshots here, which shows the identical product as well as accurate time stamps. At the end of the day, this has been a life lesson. I’ll never consider Visions again for anything as I haven’t even received my purchase and already I’m not happy whatsoever with them. I recommend Best Buy where on the rare occasion there’s a mixup, they’ve always been fair and even handed. Visions poor customer service has not gone unnoticed. Buy elsewhere from someone who appreciates your business. What the hell was I thinking buying Canadian?!?
Visions warranty scam
When I purchase the TV for years ago they talked me into the warranty that I was told if I didn't use it I would get my money back. Well when I went to get my money back they told me well it's only an in-store credit and then when I went to use the in-store credit they say, well you have to spend at least double what your warranty was. When I purchased the TV none of that information was given to me had I known I had to spend double the amount of the warranty I never would have taken it. Beware it's a scam!!!!!
Poor experience
As a new customer the pricing and double warranty was a big draw but that’s where it ended. Called customer service said high call volumes 20 mins. Fine it’s a Monday and they are not opened weekends. After holding 20 mins the msg said no one was Available to take my call and hung up. Hours since I submitted a ticket no response still so ended up buying the tv elsewhere. I would avoid this place moving forward
This company is ridiculous
This company is ridiculous. I ordered over a month ago. I received the wrong tv twice. Today I received the right TV in a previously opened box. I have given up and am requesting this open box set be returned for a full refund. The savings aren't worth the aggravation and poor customer service.
Spent lots car audio home audio drones…
Spent lots car audio home audio drones 80 inch tvs i 3 dysons i mean i spent alot to be sold a chair with a warranty that no one will warranty the company is gone and visions is not standing behind there products the chair is now a clear out wonder why and i am suck with a 500 dollar chair they are now selling 4 months later for 199 and its broken bad welds no good company gone
they have no knowledge or ethics
We walked into the store and went straight to the assistant sales manager and asked to buy a remote car starter and asked for recommendations. The assistant manager provided two options a more expensive (two way remote) and less expensive option (one way). We have a fairly old car so we selected the cheaper option.
So after two months of waiting, we got our appointment to install. But after installing, we discovered that we were sold a car anti thief immobilizer instead of a remote starter.
We were sold a wrong product that we don't need, and they have no shame to tell you that it is your own fault and they won't help you.
They also have no ethics by selling you a warranty that didn't match the products you buy.
Complaining to the GM doesn't help neither as he only worry about profit for the store and screw the customer.
I was a loyal customer that already spent around $10K at the store for audios in the past year. Now I know they just don't care when they made a mistake, and you will be on your own.
They pretend that they are expert but they actually have no idea what they sell. Don't go there unless you know exactly what you want and just ask them to get your a specific product. And don't get their warranty, because they will sell you a wrong one and you will not be covered, but they will say it is your fault.
I also complained to their online portal, provided all the details and they don't even try to reply you, which truely demonstrates that they don't care at all.
A rogue company - avoid!!!
I purchased an $1100 Samsung TV on January 7,2025. When we plugged it in at home the screen showed only vertical lines. I returned it to Visions store in Langford BC and the manager Brandon Bauer refused to refund or replace the defective TV!!! Do not do business with this rogue company!!!
The customer service blocks your call…
The customer service blocks your call in case you want to talk to a supervisor or manager. How can deal with a issue if you are not even willing to talk. You should hear the recording of customer service agent.
WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER
WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER. PLEASE DO YURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY. RECEIVED A BROCKEN TV AND THEY TRY TO MAKE IT LIKE ITS YOUR FAULT. AFTER I PUT THE TV BACK IN THE BOX AND WRAP IT THEY ASK ME TO TAKE IT OUT AND SEND THEM A PICTURE WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE TV TO VERIFY IF I DID NOT REPLACE THE TV WITH A DIFFERENT ONE.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY.
Liars selling TV at Hamilton Store
Worst customer service. Don’t count on their delivery service. I bought a TV delivery took almost two weeks. I had to call the store every day I was given all kinds of run around. Never anyone from the store call to follow up on my purchase delivery. Don’t buy anything from Vision electronics. You are dealing with pathological liars.
This is Peter. Bought a 100 Inch Hisense TV from Hamilton store December 14, 2024.
Can't answer simple question
They are charging EHF of $5 for a rice cooker. I checked the same product on other retailers and the EHF is only $0.8.
When I asked the customer service, they gave me a URL to read (recycling site), which did not answer the question. If they can't answer a simple question, I have a doubt buying product from them.
THE STAFF WAS AMAZING STARTING WITH…EVERY THING FROM ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS TO HELPING ME LOAD > GREAT GUYS
THE STAFF WAS AMAZING STARTING WITH SHARAN ALONG WITH WAREHOUSE STAFF SHIVAM AND DHRUV > THEY WERE HELPFULL LOADING MY OVER SIZED 100" TV ALONG WITH UNBOXING UNIT TO SHOW TV WORKING > ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND SHOWING SINCERE CARE ... DAN
I am absolutely disgusted at Visions
I am absolutely disgusted at Visions, we ordered a freezer and (since my husband had bought a scooter on another failed transaction) used a visions gift card to pay for some of the total.
We waited two weeks to finally get an email saying they need to charge us an additional 349.48 (we already paid a shipping cost of 79) to ship it since we are out of the 100km radius of this particular location.
There are other locations under 100km, so we are unsure why they couldn't have made it work.
Asking so much extra for shipping AFTER our transaction went through is quite literally ROBBERY.
We will be looking into legal action, and will never give our business again.

Ordered a TV online and it was to be delivered to my home. 1 week after the order, I received an email stating the TV was available for pickup at Michael's....which is directly across the street from Visions. It took me 4 days (over a long weekend) to arrange for someone to pick it up for me. On opening the box, it was evident the TV had been previously opened....found the screen broken. Took it back to Visions and was told by a Salesperson that's what I get for ordering Online and to speak with a Manager. The Manager would not talk to me and I was told I had to deal with the Online site. Online site said they would not help me as the order was over 24 hrs old. It took over a week to even get it! And it wasn't even delivered to my home!
Beware Online Buyers...Visions seems to off load broken merchandise on the premise it cannot be returned.
