I waited for days for a transfer that never arrived. The platform claimed it was completed, yet my bank confirmed nothing was received and the issue was on the sender’s side. Support, supposedly 24/7, was useless only automated replies and no way to call them. Emails went unanswered, leaving me completely stuck and frustrated. Eventually, I reported the situation to.Fos`gro`ve, who reviewed and handled it professionally. After their involvement, the issue was finally resolved. A deeply disappointing experience overall avoid this platform.

No notice before mandatory 2FA reset, very concerning

VirgoCX recently forced me to reset Google Authenticator without any advance notice. Instead of logging in normally, I was dropped into a fullscreen “bind authenticator” prompt with no option to skip or dismiss. The wording on the page said the change was “recommended,” but in reality I was blocked from proceeding until I re-bound — which only made it feel more like a phishing attempt.

When I asked support, they initially didn’t even know this rollout was happening. I found it odd that I appeared to be the first complaint the customer service agent had encountered. Only after I provided screenshots did they check with their information security team and confirm it was legitimate. That lack of awareness is very concerning for a financial service.

Worse, the old 2FA was simply disabled before login, rather than asking for re-binding after authenticating. This implementation choice made the whole process feel suspicious and contrary to best practices.

Security is not just about technology — it’s also about communication. Sudden, unexplained changes erode user trust. Even legitimate measures, if poorly presented, can make customers think their accounts have been compromised.

VirgoCX needs to improve how they handle security rollouts: send advance notifications, provide clear explanations in-app, and ensure support staff are fully aware before customers are affected.

Other than this, I have been satisfied with their service the few times I’ve used it.

Withdrawal issues

I have been waiting for e-transfer withdrawal for 6 hours already. I was trying to contact support, which is said to be working 24/7. Nonetheless, responses were only generic and did not help at all. On the platform it is said that the transfer is completed, which is not true. I called my banl and they said that the transfer is blocked and it is the problem on the side of the sender. I cannot call the support as there is no incoming line, I cannot reach them through email. And I honestly do not know what to do as the funds are not on my bank account. Terrible experience, I do not recommend you this service!
