Very disappointing experience with customer communication. As a first-time user of the platform, I unknowingly listed an item (a brand-new baby food product) that is apparently not allowed. Instead of a helpful or informative response, I received a message that felt unnecessarily harsh and threatening, warning that my account could be restricted or closed if it happened again.

For a new user, this approach comes across as unwelcoming and disproportionate. A clearer and more respectful explanation of the rules would have been far more appropriate. Customer support should guide users, not intimidate them.

Lots of good stuff. Easy to use. Terribly addictive though.

It is the best place where I sell my things

I had a really bad experience with Vinted. I bought a package, but it never arrived at the shop like it was supposed to. Instead of helping or fixing the issue, Vinted just closed the case without solving anything. Now I’ve lost my money and received nothing. This is very disappointing and unfair!!!

Vinted has blocked my account just because i posted a prada t shirt (REAL) and acused me of selling a fake.
No debate.
I didnt send pictures after our support chat because i was busy.

Received a severely damaged item with large holes and fabric deterioration without any mention of damage in the listing.

Seller initiated a return at my expense, which I disputed. Vinted refused to mediate and closed my case without answering my questions.

The seller and I then agreed on a refund without return, but Vinted support responded too late to act within the return deadline. I was forced to return the item to avoid losing the refund.

When I raised a complaint about their handling of the case, I received only automated responses that didn't address the issue at hand.

Buyer protection is mandatory and paid for, yet in this case it did not prevent financial loss or provide any meaningful support, mediation, or review. I was left to resolve the issue alone and still incurred a loss after receiving a faulty item.

Under EU consumer rules, if a product is defective or not as described, the seller is generally responsible for putting it right at no cost to the buyer. It is unclear why Vinted does not apply a similar standard to ensure accountability on its platform.

Charging a mandatory fee for buyer protection while failing to actually provide it raises serious ethical concerns about how Vinted operates as an organization.

I like that people are very honest my experiences have all been very good so fare.

It’s easy to use and the sales so far have been easy to handle.
I’m still looking forward to buy my first item, but I’m sure it will happen soon - I have found lots of great clothes already.

if I didn't be very careful, download twice the same items, they just block my shop 3 days.
if you have payment come in your vinted account, you need to transfer it manuel. No Automatic Transfer!!!

I purchased an item on Vinted and paid in full, but I never received my order. Despite multiple attempts to contact Vinted via the app and email, they closed my case multiple times without ever trying to understand what happened.

This company is not customer-friendly, not reliable, and I am extremely disappointed. I never had access to my purchase, yet they charged me and provided no support.

I request a full refund immediately and a proper resolution. Buyers beware: Vinted cannot be trusted to handle problems responsibly.

Shipping is too expensive. I feel like it is a blocker for many sales to happen.

Shitty ass app that has blocked me from selling, due to their tech not working in identifying whether my product was real or not (it was).

I have nothing to say in this matter whatsoever apparently, and their decision is final - gg wp idiots.

Fake goods!!

I bought Dyson Airwrap i.d. on Vinted. There was a receipt enclosed. The machine seemed to be ok but the Bluetooth would not work. I contracted Dyson and they inspected the machine and said it was fake. I contracted the seller and they immediately deleted their profile. The helpdesk said they cannot do anything because I have accepted the translation. DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS OR ANY VALUABLE ITEMS ON VINTED! There are cheaters and no protection for buyers.

It is really easy to upload your artikels to Vinted and it is also nice and easy to send the artikels without having to print a lable for the packages.

Succeeded in selling used stuff quickly which I couldn't sell for a long time on other platforms.

A great consept and way to shop with others - BUT...
Vinted has a non existent customer service and - if possible - an even worse (and illegal?) return policy.

If a seller sends you a totaly wrong product, the normal practice (and rules) are that buyer NEVER has to pay for return shipment of such a product.
But that is not how it is done by Vinted.
If a seller on Vinted sends something wrong to you (= NOT what you bought!), they ask BUYER to pay for return shipment. Only if seller OFFERS to pay for it, can buyer return the product without costs.

Apart from this, Vinted is also very bad at getting back to you, when you contact them. Especialy if it is an issue they do not earn money from.

This is NOT acceptable and NOT how a decent company should do - at all!
Shame on you, Vinted!
