Awful

Awful. Ran by bots and constantly banning accounts for no reason at all. The reasons that are not valid, wrongly incriminating new sellers.
Most unprofessional and waste of time.

Horrible

Horrible. Banned for fraudulent items even when I showed receipts, authentication numbers for the items, and all pictures required. AI banned my account imo without any valid proof or reasoning. Help center absolutely sucks because it’s all AI as well. I wish I checked Reddit before even making an account. Even if the banned gets removed I’m never touching this scammy app ever again. Be so careful purchasing or selling on this app. It’s an all around scam to me.

£5 for signing turn into £2.50 x2 off any purchase over £15
£10 for selling one item turns into £2 x5 off any purchase over £15
Complete an utter waste of time
Meaning you need spend £105.00 minus the £15 makes it £95 will need to be spend to earn your £15

What is going on with vinted

What is going on with vinted. ive allowed myself to get stung with what seems a false seller. No reviews and does not comnunicate in conversation. Saw what looked like a beautiful bag and i have disputed because its not the colour advertised. Its evidently fake also. I have been offered 5 discounts so far but i want my full money back. The 'seller' waits to just under 24 hours each time to offer the discount. I reported to vinted 3 days ago and so far no reply. Ive veen using Vinted for quite some time both as a buyer and seller and there is a lot of good genuine sellers on there. Shame that there is now a lot of scamners on there and vinted have stopped giving the level of support required. I will be suprised now if my purchase is resolved. The seller is a joke and i was stupid .

Steer away from Vinted

Steer away from Vinted and search for better more common sense platforms. I have been on it for 6 years, created a considerable base of customers, as well as built a trustworthy reputation and hundreds of reviews. All gone within a day because of the ban policy. Appealing with them does nothing. They have an AI integrated system, same responses over and over again and no resolution. Besides this, another problem is they are HEAVILY biased towards clients and not sellers. But who do buyers buy from, after all? This is great for me as a buyer but bad for me as a seller. They detect some small issue with your upload (Bad AI system) and its immediately erased. Of course this adds up and then you become permanently banned. It was fun for all these years, as well as nerve wrecking.

It will keep losing loyal users.

It is sadly goodbye to this platform.

I am absolutely disgusted that I can not submit a complaint, no telephone number, no email address. I post a parcel through Inpost l, the item did not register as posted, Vinted cancelled the order m, resulted in an unhappy buyer, I 100% posted the item at Carlton Goole Inpost, box opened item locked in and it never got delivered. I am not reimbursed for the item m, customer didn’t receive it m, item brand new worth £110 and I’ve lost it no communication from
Vinted. I wd rather give it to charity. Shocking customer service would not use ever again lack of communication and option to communicate is disgusting. And I’m

It’s absolutely bizarre and completely…

It’s absolutely bizarre and completely out of the blue that my account has been blocked simply for changing the price of my item. That is beyond ridiculous. I’ve already provided clear evidence proving the item is genuine, and it had been listed on the platform for a long time without a single issue.

It’s now been over 10 days with no proper response, no explanation, and not even an apology — all because of some baseless hunch on their end. The lack of communication is honestly shocking and incredibly unprofessional.

Avoid this website entirely. They clearly have no idea what they’re doing, and the complete silence from their support team is seriously concerning.

Full of scammers

Full of scammers, don't bother with this app. Buyer protection is useless - takes weeks to get your money back even if is not your fault as a buyer. Sellers canceling for no reason. I use to shop regularly - no point any more

RUN AWAY FROM VINTED! THEY HOLD YOUR MONEY HOSTAGE AND ABANDON YOU TO BOTS!

If you are thinking about using Vinted to sell, STOP AND READ THIS, or you will end up with your funds frozen with no way out. Your money is NOT safe here!

This is a deeply serious situation bordering on illegal. I simply changed my password to protect my account and, as a "reward," their automated system deactivated my profile, hijacking all the money I had in my balance. My own money, legally earned, which I need to survive, is now literally being held hostage.

Their customer support is a COMPLETE JOKE. There is no human agent. You get walled in by an AI system and automated bots telling you to "wait" and even ordering you not to send further messages, while they keep your money in their wallets.

I immediately provided ALL the sensitive documents and banking proofs required to pass the identity check, but it is completely useless because NO HUMAN bothers to look at them.

A company handling financial transactions cannot be allowed to freeze people's funds while hiding behind pre-written automated messages. This is basically misappropriation. I have already activated the European dispute resolution body (ADROIT) to report this unfair practice, and if my balance is not unlocked immediately, I will take legal action against the platform for the unlawful retention of funds.

AVOID THIS PLATFORM. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY AND GHOST YOU!

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, my recent experience with Vinted as a seller was very disappointing.

The buyer claimed that the dress was not as described based only on subjective arguments: a “laundry smell”, missing tags, and a handmade-looking hanger loop inside the dress. There were no objective defects or any proof that the item had been worn.

I provided photos and detailed explanations, but the support responses felt automated and did not meaningfully address the evidence I submitted. In the end, Vinted approved the return despite the lack of clear proof that the item was not as described.

It feels like in disputes the platform automatically favors the buyer, while sellers often have very limited opportunity to defend themselves fairly.

It’s a shame, because Vinted used to be a much better experience.

I do love having to read every description or having find a label because you don't have a leg length filter and then when those "Great condition" clothes turn up with stains and holes.. Paying to return them.. Vinted Sucks..!!!

Death threat ignored by Vinted

I am writing this to expose a severe security and safety failure by Vinted. I opened a standard transaction dispute regarding a seller, and because Vinted Support completely ignored the case and delayed their response, the situation has escalated into a horrific criminal matter.
The seller has just sent me explicit DEATH THREATS right inside the Vinted chat. They sent me graphic pictures of a handgun and a bloody corpse, stating that they have my home address, will come find me, and that I am "the next one" if I don't withdraw my complaint. Full screenshots of these terrifying messages and photos are available and attached as proof.
When I rushed to report this extreme threat to Vinted, all I received was a cold, automated robot message telling me to "wait patiently". In fact, throughout this entire period, the only response I have ever received from Vinted is a series of generic, pre-written automated messages. I am deeply disappointed and truly appalled by this utter lack of human empathy and responsibility.
This is absolutely unacceptable! Vinted’s lack of immediate action and slow customer service is exposing buyers to real-world physical danger and violent criminals.
I am officially holding Vinted legally liable for my physical safety. If anything happens to me or my household, Vinted will be held fully responsible for ignoring a clear, reported deadly threat.
Shame on you, @Vinted, for neglecting user safety. I demand an immediate escalation, a permanent ban on this dangerous criminal's account, and a manual review of my case NOW!

Their customer service is abysmal

Their customer service is abysmal. I started selling some craft items and after a few weeks, I was told my account was restricted unless I became a PRO seller. I felt this was unnecessary but found becoming a PRO seller easy enough. I filled in their questions and I was reactivated. It now stated I was allowed to sell commercially, although this was not the case. I then continued to sell but was frequently ‘restricted’ for multiple days at a time due to ‘commercial’ selling! Their customer service team must be AI robots without an inch of remorse in their souls. Of course, I’m sure they’re told what to say or just press a button, but It was very frustrating to be repeatedly ignored, restricted, uninformed as to why, and I felt incredibly undervalued as their user. They don’t care for their customers. I’ve now been ‘blocked’ for never having a ‘business’ in the first place, but I was never asked to provide proof of business so this seems unjustified. Until I sent them a copy of their terms and conditions in which they have to provide evidence as to why they’ve restricted you, whether this was through a report or through their AI bots, what actions i can take etc, did they bother to look further into it. I have £700 sitting in my account and I can’t access it until I’m verified as a business. Is it worth me signing up as a sole trader to access this money or shall I cut my losses, including all that craft stuff, and delete the app? It’s not as if I can ask them to help me!! I will take further action via the local county courts as per vinteds advice in their terms and conditions.

Very disappointed with Vinted support

Very disappointed with Vinted seller protection. I sold brand new shoes to a buyer called “21mili”. Before shipping, I took clear photos showing the shoes were completely new — no creases, no damage, and even the original sticker was still on the sole. The buyer opened a return, and because I wanted to act fairly, I accepted it. But when the shoes came back, they were clearly damaged. The inner sole lining was creased and broken in a way that was not there before shipping.
I contacted Vinted support, sent before-and-after photos, and explained that the item had been returned in worse condition. Instead of actually looking at the evidence, support kept repeating template answers and closed the case. What is the point of asking sellers for proof if the proof is ignored? I sent a brand new item and received back damaged shoes. The buyer got a refund, and I was left with a ruined item. Honestly, this experience made me lose trust in selling on Vinted.

I wonder when people will finally come…

I wonder when people will finally come together and ban the whole scam that Vinted has become. On this platform, sellers can sell defective items, yet the buyer is the one who bears the cost because the buyer has to pay for returning the item. What's even worse, the buyer often cannot leave a review for the seller after the return.

Why? Because Vinted doesn't want to lose sellers.

In Poland, with the involvement of the Consumer Protection Authority, the matter is currently before the Supreme Court. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
