Ordered 2 Tomahawk steaks on a special deal. There was nothing to indicate that these weren't British beef but on arrival the steak packaging was all in polish. The site claims to work with British farmers and british breeds. I sent a message to the supplier asking them to confirm the origin of the meat but I've had no reply. The steaks were pretty grim but then it was our first experience of a Tomahawk steak so who knows. We won't be dealing with Village Butchers again. Caveat emptor!

Wish there was a zero option!

The second time my order has been short of an item. I rang to explain, have emailed and left a voicemail. Its been 3 attempts to ask them to resolve it and no response just silence. Just tried again for a 4th time and straight to voicemail.

Do not use shop with GridIron instead!

Meat looks nice but very hit and miss. Quality and butchering not good enough for me to buy again.

Created a meat order and paid by PayPal. I then realised order going to wrong address. Sent Joe 2 emails straight away and 2 phone calls which weren’t answered. Really bad service and I won’t be using again.
