It's truly a beautiful piece of furniture, but it arrived missing many parts, screws and the door hinges I had to buy all of those at another store to assemble it It's really beautiful but it's a shame that some parts were missing

Terrible customer service. After we bought an item at 120 euros, which broke instantly, they offered to repay us in a voucher(?!) of 40(?!) euros... After asking multiple times for a decent refund, they said: okay we can refund the entire total if you ship the broken product back. After choosing that option, they sent us: 'sorry, a full refund after shipping the product back is only available in the first 14 days, which is expired by now'. The only reason this is expired is because they always take too long to answer.
We've been messaging them for weeks, seems like the 40 euro voucher is all we are going to get.

I order a planter box and within 20mins I wanted to cancel it. I chatted with 3 agents over trying to cancel the order and they each said they would cancel it and send me a confirmation. I did not receive any cancelation and they now say it is out for delivery. Horrible service and purposely deceitful company. Avoid!!

My online shopping experience with VidaXL was an absolute disaster, from purchase to post-sale support. Their terrible customer service and unfair return policy make this company completely untrustworthy.
I ordered a bathroom furniture piece from their Belgian website (where I live), but when I needed to return it due to issues, they forced me to pay expensive return shipping costs to their warehouse in the Netherlands. The item was heavy, making the return unreasonably costly, and they did everything possible to avoid taking responsibility.
Their after-sales service is a joke, I had to talk to a different person each time, and each one dealt with the matter in their own way. No clear answers., endless excuses, and zero willingness to resolve the issue fairly. Instead of honoring their policies, they created unnecessary obstacles to discourage the return.
DO NOT be fooled by their attractive prices! What seems like a good deal can turn into a financial nightmare due to their shady practices. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. I hope no one else has to go through this awful experience.
Update:
As you can see from VidaXL’s reply, they simply repeat their policy and avoid the real issue: poor communication, lack of transparency, and extra costs for the customer. My refund was processed, but I still had to pay expensive return shipping for unopened items. This is exactly why I warn others not to buy here.

Cheap furniture and horrible after service...I bought balcony chairs that were labelled "taupe" (i.e. grey/light brown), only to receive something that was brown. The pictures on the website made me buy the wrong item, and - when I immediately contacted the customer service - they told me I had to ship back the items at my expenses ( Eur 9.99) even though I was prepared to buy the chairs in another colour. Bottom line: be prepared to bad surprises, or just drop VidaXL. Personally, I'm not going to use them again

Everything was horrible. The furniture was visibly damaged, very poor quality, and difficult to assemble.
The drawers are not well aligned and they don't open well. There were stains and scratches in several parts.
In few words, I bought very expensive garbage.

I ordered a sofa bed. The delivery was fast. But what an ugly and poor quality sofa this is. It was almost impossible to assemble. The fabric looks very cheap. There is no seating comfort at all, you better sit on the floor. Returning it is impossible. You will never get that junk packed again and you also have to pay the return costs yourself. I will never buy from VidaXL again. Chinese junk.

Order came supers fast, but the quality is horrible. Needs more color coatings not to see the wood. Doors are hard to install due to the quality of the wood and accessories. Screws popped up few times.
Glad that I got the options to get partly or full refund afterwards.

After leaving my bad review for a product I bought, VidaXL contacted me supposedly to resolve my issues with the product in exchange for deleting my review, and they offered me a small monetary refund for the problems I had to face due to their horrible product. They harassed me to delete the review while the refund was being processed. The people at VidaXL are inefficient even in their company's staff, as I have been passed from one department to another and no one knows how to issue a refund, but they do know how to harass us to delete our reviews about their low-quality products. In my case, it was a garden house where the manual seemed to have been made by a 5-year-old child; nothing fit, the material was terrible, and I had to spend money to fix the issues they caused me instead of providing a solution. After several messages telling me to remove my review, I did so to give them a chance, but these shameless people, after I deleted my review, acted as if nothing had happened and even stopped responding to me. What a lack of professionalism in every way this company has. DO NOT BUY HERE ANYMORE.

The table came broken and scratched in many different parts. The color looks like it's faded and dusty, honestly its the worst furniture I have ever bought in my life. Very hard to assembly, I will keep my old coffee table and definitely throw it.

The delivery courier didn't arrive to my address. I had to pick it up from Aalter and I live in Gent. The holes od the side supports of the couch doesn't match at all. I had to make holes and new structure (metallic) to not feel because the wood is fragil

I ordered a vidaxl product from a site. Took forever to get the product. When I got the product it couldn't be put together. The pieces were not correct. Sent the product back with the label I was given. Nobody knows where the item is. Nobody cares it is just gone. Vidaxl says contact this person they sold it to you. Done. They do not call back. They don't email back. Product from a company bought new from a "trust pilot" site and everyone is just like oh well. We didn't sell it to you.

I bought a manicure table. In the pictures and in the description it looked very good but in reality it was an unfinished glossy white wood, very dirty with edges full of wood glue solution. Extra holes. They remain spaced when joining the pieces of wood. Very bad quality. I am extremely disappointed. For almost €400, you could make a super quality table.

I have bought a few times with VidaXL, the quality of their products is in line with the price you pay for it. It's not the best, but it's affordable. The reason I wanted to write a review was because of my experience with their first line support.
I bought a planter, which was one of the worst and most painful experiences to build. After spending hours building it, I could no longer proceed. Some parts were wrong so I reached out to customer support. They provided me replacement parts. I should've gotten 2 side panels that are exactly the same, but I got 2 different ones. They refused to acknowledge that they accidently sent a wrong panel. Sadly, the replacement panel was also not correct. So I asked for a fix as this is clearly a mistake in production.
After A LOT of back and forth with the company they would only propose to return the package. Disassembling the planter would again cost me a lot of time and probably render the planter useless or broken. So I asked if it was okay to return it in the half built state that it was. They agreed (I confirmed twice) and when they planned the return it was suddenly no longer accepted to return it in that state. Then they forgot to cancel the return which made for an awkward discussion with DPD. The worst part, though, is that the support person now started adding silly insults to every email.
Edit: After 2 months my issue was finally escalated and we could come to an good solution. The escalation team is far more capable and friendly. I would've preferred not spending all this time on this matter, but I understand that they will now review the product for faults and will discuss the insults. It's all I can ask for, honestly. I'm, leaving it at 3 stars for now. If I ever have a better experience with their support, then I might consider updating it.
The product still remains a pain to assemble, but at least others that buy it will be able to complete it.
