I had a horrible horrible experience at viber. I purchased their plan on 4th of March 2025 and until then, they have blocked me 3 times without any reason. I already ask them to refund me if you don't want me to use your service but they won't. Not recommended...!

I tried to sign up for the subscription but was never able to actually make an account, despite this they charged me for the subscription and i can't even login to cancel this. I wrote support many times but they don't do anything. Absolutely horrible app and service, now i need to contact my credit card company to do a chargeback. Edit: the issue was resolved by support

Excellent support from Viber!
Derrick D. in tech support solved an issue I was having after my iphone needed a reset and I was unable to activate my cellphone number. He responded to my emails in a timely fashion and corrected the problem to my complete satisfaction.

I can only recommend avoiding this company and their products at all costs.
Multiple support emails ignored, total lack of basic courtesy, and an unwillingness to make any effort to support the customer for even the most basic requests.
Even formal complaints go unacknowledged.

The average star rating here pretty much says it all. I’m sure that a number of years ago this would’ve been very different as this company used to be very good. I’ve been using Viber out for a long time which was again very good a while back but has recently caused me nothing but trouble. I was having trouble calling so upgraded to the World package a few months ago. You would think that because it was an upgrade in my opinion this would’ve cancelled my UK only calling plan but it was sometime before. I realise that this was not the case so I was paying for two packages. Despite this when I tried to call UK numbers on the world plan it doesn’t work. I also have trouble calling the UK sometimes using the UK plan which as I said I have as well as the world plan. Despite having both the app tells me only that I have the UK plan so I didn’t think to check if I had both running concurrently. Further to all this and my big problem with Viber is that you cannot get to speak to anybody either via chat or by voice call and they do not respond quickly to emails and certainly don’t listen to points raised in my emails. I’m thinking of cancelling our subscription(s) I will find it hard to recommend the Viber out service at this point in time.

Worst of the worst! After 3 months unsuccessful attempt's to unblock my number which was blocked with no reason just with my registration I decided to sent Viber right to the hell and use normal apps.
