After a disappointing start to buying a car and having it refused the problem was sorted quickly by the sales man Harry and the Manager Haley, top marks to these two for a job well done with kindness and courtesy.

We purchased our new Hyundai Tuscon plug in hybrid ultimate on 1st from Vertu Hyundai Peterlee.
This is our 7th purchase from this dealer. The sales executive for the last four was Eddy. He took the stress out of all the paperwork etc and with his knowledge and easy going friendly manner it was a pleasure to do the transaction. This is one of the reasons why we return to Vertu Peterlee. Nothing was a problem to him or the team and can highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them.
We would just like to add Eddy is a credit to the organisation and best wishes to him for the future.

The Peterlee dealership had a warm welcome, staff offered us space to look at the cars with no hard sell. Ed took the time to go over our requirements and did not rush us into making a decision. Fantastic customer service .

Massively incorrect information on this Web page. DO NOT go through hyundai for your servicing or any other mechanical issues.
Prices are incorrect and the list of jobs that will be carried out is also massively deceptive.
Trying to establish what work is part of the full service is like entering pans labyrinth.
Hyundai customer service have no knowledge whatsoever ever of what is stated on their websites.
I had a disgraceful experience talking to Peterlee Hyundai Garage in the phone about this.
SG Petch in Middlesbrough were so much nicer over the phone, accepting that there are issues with the website (not overseen by SG petch!)

In summary of work that will be completed, the full service states that it will include "Full health check of vehicle management systems using Hyundai Diagnostic Tester" this is not to be mistaken for a Hyundai diagnostic test!!!
Although it clearly states that is what it is.

AA breakdown cover is included and clearly states that terms and conditions apply to this.
The diagnostic check also has terms and conditions applied, it is just not stated as having TsandCs. This is known as deceptive practice from hyundai.

The salesman Andrew, was very friendly, helpful and professional. He did not pressurize me at all and allowed me to make my own decision.
I was very pleased with the amount given for my trade in vehicle.
After driving the Kona for 2 weeks now, I am delighted with the car.
