Unfortunately I was sent Vergo by my Household…
I was sent Vergo by my Household Insurers Aviva, as I paid extra for the Home Emergency Cover. Their Pest Official arrived and laid the bate in my loft. He told me he has to come 4 times for the work. Since the first time I have nothing but trouble with this Company by their Official not turning up, leaving me short of £150 per day in wages, by having to stay at home, waiting for this man on Vergo's specified days.
After the first visit I was informed that the same man, who apparently lives close to me, would arrive the following Monday at 08.00 hours, but he did not turn up. After many telephone calls to Aviva Insurance and Vergo, when none of their staff that said they would call me back after investigation, none did so, until one lady from their Gloustershire branch did call back after 18.00 hours to say the Official was coming at 08.00 hours the next morning instead.
I was unable to contact my place of work that night so had to go into work next day. The following day the Official did not turn up again so I made multiple phone calls again, explaining that I cannot keep taking days off work just to suit Vergo, when these were costing me my wages and I was likely to be asked to leave my job by taking off too many days unexpectedly. He came after many calls of enquiry, late morning, complaining that he had not been told about visiting me........??? Now this week the same has happened. This same Official informed me that he would come at 08.00 hours this morning, did not turn up. I made many phone calls trying to find out where, when and if anyone was coming at all, but each said they would have to find out, after putting me on 'hold' for between 19 minutes and 49 minutes, and one man came on the phone saying I was not registered for Home Care under my Policy number so he could not help. Another said I had not been registered for any visits for Pest Control, when I most certainly have been - this Company lacks any type of training and cooperation from their clueless, disinterested staff, making the recorded message on Vergo's phoneline stating 'each Customer receives our full attention'completely untrue, as they are a chaotic, completely uncaring Company whose staff do not seem to know what they are doing.
So only those that have the time to sit in waiting at all and every hour daily, between 08.00 hours and 17.00 hours and to whom it does not matter when or if anyone turns up, because what Customers are told is very unlikely to happen, then they are the only ones that will be satisfied. All others will find they waste all of their time chasing up this Company that is sorely failing them, to be failed even further.
The result is that Aviva are going to lose ALL of my Insurance business when the renewal time arrives in 2025 (House, Car and Travel) because they employ such a grossly inefficient, uncaring and disorganised Company which is Vergo, anyway unable to cope with what they have been employed to do by Aviva for a PAYING Customer. I cannot recommend Vergo in any way and they deserve only the lowest rating possible for their work which they have not done as yet.
Just look at the comments by Trust Pilot at the start of this site- that says it all- Vergo is not complying with Trust Pilot's requirements by displaying their name as a recommendation when they are not entitled to do that. Trust Pilot do not accept them as a reputable company!! BE WARNED.
