I bought this Hisense 65NU8700 from Vendido, via boulanger.com.
It was listed as "factory reconditioned," and was nearly 1,000€ less than the same model new. it also came with a mail-in rebate, that required the buyer to send in their original receipts and bar codes from the TV box.
The TV arrived at the scheduled date and time, but when i unwrapped it, I discovered that the bar code had already been removed, indicating that someone had already taken advantage of the rebate. I haven't received the receipt yet, anyway. It seems clear they're selling stolen goods.
The worst is yet to come! When I unwrapped the TV, assembled it and plugged it in, I discovered a long crack, dead pixels, in the screen. It seems it left the factory like that, because there's no exterior damage, no broken glass or anything.
The fact that the after sales service has yet to answer my messages backs up my claim that they're up to no good.
Long story short, if it's too good to be true, it is.
