I was so glad to hear of this service as I suffer with UTI's on a regular basis although I haven't had one in about 2 years. It has always been such a hassle to get an appointment with my GP straight away, and everyone knows when you first feel that pain, you need antibiotics straight away! I bought the test kit in Boots. I did the test at 4pm and by 5.30 there was a prescription in my pharmacy waiting for me. I was very sceptical of the fact that it was only a 3 day course of antibiotics at first. Usually I've needed a 5 or 7 day course to fully clear up my infection. However I'm now putting this down to the fact that I had to wait a couple of days for a doctors appointment and previous infections became a little more complicated to treat during this time frame. I'm completely better now and didn't need to take time off work or anything. Will definitely be using this service again.

Hugely impressed by Velieve. Kit arrived within two hours, instructions were very clear, and I had my diagnosis and prescription for treatment less than five hours after first finding Velieve online. Would definitely use again.

I ordered my kit on Sunday afternoon and it didn’t arrive until Wednesday evening. I did the test straight away and they advised I could pick up the prescription that evening but it was two towns away from me so I was unable to get there. They advised they would have to wait until the morning to get a pharmacy in my own town. I was contacted on Thursday to advise my prescription was at a pharmacy in my town. When I arrived at the pharmacy they hadn’t received the prescription. They contacted the medical provider who said they would send it over in 5 minutes. After waiting a further 30 minutes and me having to contact Velieve the pharmacy received my prescription. All in all I feel it wasn’t as straight forward a process as it could have been and it would have actually been quicker for me to attend my GP and get the prescription on the NHS. I won’t be using this service again.

*update* shortly after posting this I received a follow up call from the Customer Care Manager at Velieve. I feel satisfied and confident that my experience has been taken on board and the customer service at Velieve is first class.

I ordered the UTI test kit it was super fast and easy to use. I was in pain and it was weekend so the Gp was not available. I got antibiotics the next day and I feel fine now after 3 days. Excellent medical team and great fast delivery. Thank you.

Quick, convenient and overall just great!

I never write reviews but Velieve is the most amazing service. I am so lucky I came across an advert for it- every woman that has been through a UTI know you can barely function enough to go to a GP and wait in a large queue. Being able to wait for the test (which is very quick - came in 1 hour last time) and get results from home has been a life saver. Thank you to whoever made this. There should be one for BV / thrush etc :) - let me know if you know any services for the latter.

Used it and it told me that it didn’t work and that I needed to buy a new test. Waste of £26

Test told me I did not have a Uti. I then received a phone call from ‘No caller Id’ they spoke quickly , all I heard was velieve and can I get your date of birth to confirm your identity, I was really confused because the test came back negative with no note saying I could be called. I asked for the number to call them back and he didn’t know his own number, so I said I’d ask on Velieve app if they had someone call me, he wasn’t impressed. They got back to my msg on the app very quickly though and confirmed they called me from a no number. I called back and would of apologised but the receptionist said he’d call me back. He didn’t. He told his receptionist to tell me that he has emailed me the info. I received no email. His call made me worry as he said he wanted to talk about my results. I then went to my GP and was told it is a UTI. Complete waste of €35 for test. unprofessional service. Clearly money focused and not patient focused.

Velieve was brilliant and very efficient. However, it was let down by the end process. Velieve sent me to a pharmacy in the neighbouring town, but they knew absolutely nothing about the process or my prescription, and insisted they could not help. Thank heavens for the chap at MedicSpot, who telephoned the pharmacist to sort out the problem!

The home kit arrived in two hours & was super efficient alongside the app! I particularly loved the timings and how every step was explained, even how to recycle your kit.

However, I had problems with Medicspot as they sent my prescription to a pharmacy that wasn't open. I rang them and they said they would send it elsewhere so waited for a couple of hours but there was no update so I rang again. This time someone else answered and assured me she would ask her colleague who I had previously spoken to to give me an update. After a few more hours, I rang again and he said he'd messaged me (he hadn't) but that my medication had been sent to a pharmacy that was open. I was still able to get my antibiotics on the day but Medicspot made the process a lot longer and more stressful than it needed to be.

It was a great experience, super fast and easy. No problems at all. Will definitely use again if needed.

Thank you so much for such a brilliant service. I ordered the kit on Monday morning which was a bank holiday – assuming it would come on Tuesday. It arrived half an hour later! It was easy to use and the doctor rang me and prescribed and I am now well again. I cannot tell you how grateful I am. It made such a difference as I was able to go back to work feeling confident - after a few days of feeling really dreadful! So I just wanted to extend a big thanks to you and to Dr Dunn who rang me.

This is a great service, delivery was in a couple of hours. You pay extra for the 4 hour delivery so the total was £26. The kit was easy to use and the results fast. My prescription was available at a local pharmacy straight away which cost £10 - making this much cheaper that the £45 appointments (without prescription charge) at Babylon etc and essential when you cannot get an appointment straight away at the docs. Am already feeling better!

Absolutely fabulous! Without ever having to leave the house and within just a few hours I was diagnosed with a simple UTI and got treatment delivered at home. The app and diagnostic kit are very simple to use. Cannot recommend enough for a simple UTI and will be using it again no doubt!

Superb!
When you are in pain, the last thing you need is finding a GP, sitting in the waiting room, going to the pharmacy and all just to get some medication that will provide relief hours later. With Velieve you do all that without leaving your house and your comfort zone.
