Looks like they are out of business

I have their ebike kit for my brompton, last year I had a warranty issue that was solved quickly but had a pedal sensor issue weeks ago, only now there is dead silence, several mails have been send but no response anymore. I knew last year they had issues getting parts because of covid and had to shut down the company for a few weeks because of covid infections. Then I find out with a online search that I"m not alone, many people seem to be waiting for a kit after having paid and are not getting any response either. Their website is still live but you can't place any orders anymore, to me it looks they are out of business.

Avoid at all costs (or it will cost you)

I ordered a Vekkit kit in May 2021, with delivery estimated in late July or early August.

I am writing in March 2022, and not only have I not received the kit, but I also have not received a promised refund. I made the mistake of paying via bank transfer rather than by credit card, meaning I cannot easily do a chargeback.

Nearly all messages go unanswered. The company has blamed Covid supply issues for the problems, which is understandable, but they have, in essence, taken my 700+ Euros and given me nothing in return save for a months-long headache. Customer service means nothing to Vekkit/Velotton. They don't know how to run a business and they don't know how to do customer care.

In some ways, I feel bad for them, but I am mostly extremely confused by their lack of care and honesty.

Ordered a kit 6months ago - didn't get anything

Ordered a kit last year september.
Estimated delivery time 12 weeks.
In november website says due to covid this and that delivery takes longer.
On february i get a mail saying the cant deliver and will return payment within a month.
Til today i didnt get anything, no kit, no money back, no further mail/answer.
Its a shame, Pavel!

For a month after ordering there was no…

For a month after ordering there was no response to queries, the order status was not updated, and after more online research about same I eventually requested a chargeback from my credit card company. Supply chain issues appear to be the problem according to a message newly appeared on their website, but the company were still happy to take payments despite knowing they could not deliver. Disgraceful and unprofessional at best. Or possibly a scam.

To be avoided.

This is a company to be avoided.
Their delivery times are far longer than they indicate when orders are placed, their communications are non-existent, they rarely respond to email queries, and they delay in refunding money long after orders have been cancelled. It is like they're not even a real company.
