Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 63 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers found the service to be very helpful and a necessary part of buying a car privately, providing valuable insights into a vehicle's history and potential issues. Reviewers appreciated that the service could save them from scams and headaches, offering a good understanding of what they were considering buying. The service is often described as easy to use, providing great details on vehicles at a reasonable price, with some even highlighting the quality of the free version. However, some people were dissatisfied with the pricing and payment structure, feeling that the cost was too high for the information provided, especially when compared to competitors. Many customers reported being misled by the product descriptions, particularly regarding the inclusion of service history in comprehensive reports, often requiring additional payments for information they expected to be included. There were also complaints about the accuracy of the reports, with some customers receiving incorrect information or finding the reports to be thin and unhelpful. A few other people also felt that the company's practices, such as flagging certain issues, were concerning, and experienced poor customer service when trying to resolve these issues.

Your reply is in no way accurate .

Your reply is in no way accurate .. the stolen marker was removed but only after I contacted Experian who subsequently contacted the insurance company who had placed the marker. At the time of your supplied report, the car had been used as a taxi in 2024 … through the salvage auction and had the stolen marker so I have definitely not been misinformed , your are trying to cover the inaccuracy of the report you supplied which is fact.
As for Experian being your insurance provider that statement is not accurate … the report Experian supplied if full price is paid gives a £10k cover on a car having a theft or stolen, which somehow you seem to be adopting as your insurance. When. I spoke to Experian they said that you were just a customer in the same way that anyone would have been had they bought the report from them. Experian has no trading agreement with you on the legal T&C of their offer. Merely that you get a reduced rate of purchase on the reports which you modify and format to sell onto customers at a profit to yourself , you offer no support to the people who buy from you. As the information supplied by you is a modified version of what Experian provide it makes you liable for the information supplied to your customers . Ie the people who pay your company directly .

I strongly advise people to go straight to Experian … cut out the middle hustlers and go to people who know.

I'm still waiting on a formal reply from the three directors I reached out to but none have had the guts to reply directly.
Just avoid this company , save your money… you can get all you need for the Dvla site for free.

Brilliant Site with all the inforamtion at your finger tips!

This site takes away an awful lot of questions that should be asked by a potential buyer. The access to it makes considering purchasing a vehicle simpler. The amount of information you can learn about your vehicle & its past history is astonishing. Great App to have & to top it off -its inexpensive for that peace of mind!

Registered with TopCashback but does not payout

Another Trickster company. Don't bother with this lot if you are claiming cashback through TopCashback. VehicleScore is refusing claims. Look for a more reputable company.

I am happy to help you understand your company policy. You entered into a partnership with TopCashback to give rewards to your customers who paid to use your services, are you with me so far? I paid to use your services via an active TopCashback link but when it came to getting the reward I was informed by Topcashback that payment was refused. I hope that helps to clarify matters for you. If you need any further help I will be happy to indulge you, alternatively, you could try reading your own terms & conditions.

Peace of mind with no hidden suprises

Rather than relying on a stranger's word on their vehicle you can find out most - mot's need looking up on .gov.
things to give peace of mind.
Finance, damage, or loss problems far outweigh the cost of less than 10 pounds to give peace of mind.

Appears accurate

I checked both of my cars, the information appears accurate. The only doubt was the value of the cars.
Both appeared higher than expected, checking other sources, the values were a good bit lower. Whilst I should be pleased with the values shown by Vehicle score, if these values are not achievable its rather unhelpful.
