Shady company based in Panama.
1)I have read all their fake apologies to reviewers who have been charged because their website has literally NOWHERE to cancel your "free" trial on. Yet their website still remains set up this way so that you have to email them to cancel and they conveniently don't answer your email until after the three days has passed.
2) I was promised a refund, but because I had a Paypal dispute open - they said "Unfortunately, we are unable to process a refund while the dispute is pending. To proceed, please
withdraw the dispute and send a screenshot of the closed dispute. " They absolutely can process a refund. It's really easy. You press the button that says "Refund Buyer" on your Paypal account, under the dispute. Any company that tells you that you have to end the Paypal dispute before they will refund you, is a company you don't want to trust. And don't ever do that - you will lose the only consumer protection you have - because they aren't based in the US and not subject to their law.
I have had to escalate it with Paypal because after promising me a refund - they are not conviently ignoring me.
I'm not sure how they have 4.5 stars but I suspect!

Trust has been undermined.
A slow connection is something you can still put up with, but the existence of “automatic” payments is mentioned only in passing and is enabled by default. They also do a very good job of hiding how to disable this feature — it is very difficult to find the option. Customer support brushed me off with a template response and reminded me of a previous incident caused by their technical issues, for which a refund had already been issued (“we do not issue refunds anymore”). Trust is the foundation of any VPN service, and my personal trust has been destroyed by these actions. I will not deal with them again, even though the paid period is still active. I do not recommend this service to anyone.

I applied for the free service and found that it was for a free seven day trial, so I did not continue to payment. There was no way to cancel. My computer has a message 'VeePN is stopping me from logging off. PS. VeePN is registered in Panama, it's payments are processed in Nicosia,Cypress and it's trusted partner is called 'IT Research LLC ( USA )'. At least one of the good reviews seem to be Ai .

They are the worst service ever. If you cancel they still charge you and you can only cancel via email. They won’t refund you and ask you to cancel any open dispute before they can refund you so their service rating does not drop. Their response time is extremely slow as well
