Does exactly what the advertising says... perfect size for RyanAir carry-on, beautifully designed and well-made. I've taken it on three trips now and bought another one for my partner. The small suction fan was a bit complicated to set up (getting the best fitting valve) and is probably unnecessary as it's just as easy to kneel on the bag to expel the air before inserting the plug.

Shipped from USA and lack of transparency for Returns Process.
I ordered a VAULTBAG Under Seat 40L on 14 August. It took 11 days to arrive and, despite the website presenting prices in pounds sterling, the parcel appears to have been shipped from the USA.
Unfortunately, the bag did not meet our requirements. In particular, the vacuum feature did not compress the contents in the way I had expected from the advertising video, and once the vacuum section was sealed there was very little usable space remaining above it for additional items.
There were also issues with the accessories. The vacuum pump arrived in a damaged box, the washbag felt very cheap, and a £20 gift card shown as part of the order was not included in the parcel.
We therefore decided to return the complete order, unused and in its original condition. This is where my main concern has arisen.
The returns procedure has been surprisingly onerous. I initially emailed requesting a return address, return instructions and confirmation of any return postage charge or deduction. I was then asked to provide further details and photographs of the unused bag, which I did. Rather than receiving return instructions, I was subsequently offered a 20% refund to keep the bag.
I declined and confirmed again that I wished to return it. I have now also completed their online returns portal and received confirmation that my return request has been submitted. However, I am still waiting for an actual return address, postage instructions and confirmation of how much will be deducted from my £139 payment for the return.
At present I do not even know whether the return is to an address in the UK or overseas.
What concerns me most is the lack of transparency. The website gives the impression of a UK-facing business, with prices in sterling, yet I have been unable to find clear contact information beyond an email address, and the location and cost of returns are not being made clear before purchase.
I will update this review if and when the company provides the return details and processes my refund. Based on my experience so far, however, I would advise prospective customers to establish exactly where returns must be sent and what they will cost before ordering.
An update. I did think that posting in Trustpilot might get a response and indeed they did finally email me the details at 16.12, so it wasn't a question of silly me not seeing the emails! I will now return the item and see how the rest of the refund process goes. If successful I will review again.

Solid bag, really good quality but not perfect....yet!
Really well made bag and worked amazing overall on its first trip. Still yet to try it for work and see if I can get a change of clothes for a one day trip in it but overall it's good. It wasn't the most comfortable to carry, especially when you only throw it over one shoulder and so for the money I think there are some improvements to make and don't get fooled buy adverts showing a whole pile of clothes being vac packed to practically nothing, that doesn't happen. The vacuum element works really well and does what it can but for clothes that do not contain padding or air, there's not a huge change. If you vac pack a pillow it reduces in size considerably due to how it's constructed but clothes are not the same. It does save some space but don't think you're getting a weeks clothing in there. Also took a while to arrive so be prepared to wait a little.
