Actually a nice hotel. The reason it still ends up being a bad experience is that after departure, we discovered that some jewelry, which had been in the box in the room, was missing. After several attempts to contact the hotel, we had to travel back to the hotel to ask them to check the box. They checked it and informed us that there was nothing there. On our way back to our new hotel on another island, we were contacted to be informed that they had indeed found the jewelry. It was stated that they had fallen underneath the box!! They agreed to send the jewelry by ferry the next day. I agreed with manager Toni that we should be refunded the amount for one night's stay, as we have spent a whole day of our holiday on this, as well as expenses for both taxi and ferry. Here, 1½ months later, I still haven't seen any money, and they have also stopped responding to my inquiries.

DO NOT BOOK! BEWARE.

I made a booking on the 21st December (nearly 2 months ago).

The booking was made via booking.com. I've now been informed 2 weeks prior to staying that my booking needs to be cancelled due to overbooking of the hotel.

I assume they have instead wanted to hike up prices for the full moon party, as via a rude message I was told its a minimum stay of 3 nights for the full moon party. This isn't mentioned anywhere on their page.

Don't book this hotel if you are only going for a day, as even with advanced booking, it's not guaranteed they will honour your booking.

So disappointed!

I loved the infinity pool overlooking the sea – it felt like swimming in a dream. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the daily housekeeping kept everything pristine. The hotel's commitment to sustainability and the environment is commendable. It's the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the world. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a romantic getaway, look no further than Vannee Golden Sands. My partner and I had the most incredible time here. The sunset views from the private balcony of our room were breathtaking, and the beachside dinners were incredibly romantic. The hotel's attention to detail, from the flower arrangements to the personalized service, made our stay truly special. We left with memories that will last a lifetime.

Vannee Golden Sands is an absolute gem on Koh Phangan! The natural beauty of this place is astounding, with a perfect blend of luxury and nature.
