I was kicked out of my course twice and had to start over.
Courses don't change. Lack of variety. Took a course and never got certificate...called into your customer service (not very helpful) asked them to research, was given a ticket number and no one ever called me back with resolution. Courses expire too quickly in your system.
I am not a fan anymore of Van Ed
The class provided some good insights. It would be nice if their were more subjects such as appraisals, water law in Colorado concerning irrigation water and various other subjects.
VanEd was great for some CE education, however my Certificate of Completion did not show the hours of CE that was advertised. Can you please update my Certificate so I don't have issues with DORA.
Thanks,
I had a good experience taking a course with VanEd. The flexibility was a game-changer—I could study whenever it fit into my schedule, and I loved being able to pause and pick up right where I left off. The platform made it easy to learn at my own pace without any pressure. I recommend for anyone who needs a course that works around a busy lifestyle!
I waited until the last minute to finish my continuing ed. And I think the VanEd interpretation of the 8 hours per day put out for the Real Estate Continuing Ed in Colorado was so folks wouldn't take more classes than 8 credits per day. Unfortunately because I waited until the last minute, two days in a row, I couldn't finish my classes and had to wait. If audited I get to tell the auditor that my last three credit class was actually finished in 2025 in spite of the fact that the certificate is dated 1/1/2026 @ 12:30 Central time and I live in the mountain time zone! I know that is my problem. I enjoyed all three classes. The Colorado Water Law class was really involved and I think it deserves to be a 4 hour credit class! Thanks for being available. I won't need reminders. This is my last RE continuing Ed class. At 78, I have retired.
Your materials are easy to read and understand. Relevant for the quizzes.
When I had a problem getting my Certificate on New Year's Eve (Dec 31, the day I took the course), there was no Live Chat to talk with which was understandable but frustrating. However, when I did connect with Live Chat a couple days later, they were terrific.
Great reliable company. I started using them in 2005 for pre license classes and still use them for continuing education. I don't like the new 3rd party system nearly as much as there original. I will still recommend and use them for any future classes.
The use of good training tools, such as repetitive explanations, in different voices makes this outstanding. Clear in depth explanations links lets students get clarity where a concept is complicated.
The format has changed a lot and it is not pleasant. Why change something that worked? Having someone "read" to me is not pleasant. I am an adult and read fast. I didn't like that you could not mute the reading. You provide too much superfluous information!
Overall a great testing experience. A few of the questions should have been worded better and seemed misleading.

There was a new AI voice over with this test this year. I guess you could have turned the VO off and just read through everything but there were some sections that you couldn't do that, so I listened to the VO for the majority of the test. You get 4 hours of CE credit for this annual test and the test says that it takes 4 hours, I spent almost 6 taking it.
