Very poor commitment towards the…

Very poor commitment towards the booking taken.
Van plus don't have any control over drivers.
It's customer's responsibility to speak to driver and convince him to accept the shifting.
I wasted effectively 8 hrs of my precious time following with drivers and can plus customer care.

Pathetic service wouldn't even rate zero.
And on this if you charge me that's really pathetic of you.

This is as close as one could get from Incompetence to Fraud

Don’t be mislead, some of the reviews here are not from real people. Have a look that there is another page on trust pilot for this company and the overall rating is 1.

I booked a car for 22.02.18 from SW15 to SE1 through a manager Alan as the site was down and he did the quotation and the booking (I was sent no booking reference and for the next 80 emails he never ever replied). The quotation was for one hour (35 min drive 9pm no traffic and 25min load an offload) plenty of time for only a table.

The job was actually one hour as per the estimate, but the driver Ade Adebajo quoted 1:45. I refused to accept the timing and I put a complaint. I received a refund but not for the wrong time but because they overcharged my CC as well on top of the wrong timing.

80 e-mails & calls nothing was done. I asked proof of arrival and leaving time to demonstrate the charges but they never did.

Be aware that the people on the char website are just some bodies in Philippines, the only thing they do they just take your e-mails / calls and forward the to an undefined entity. It is impossible to get anyone in UK to talk to. The company number is not displayed on the website and it is impossible to find the owner who seem to be an elusive Polish guy impossible to be found, or this individual Adam who took my money but never replied after nor any managers.

I ended to pay £75 for a table to be transported 9.7 miles. To make the matter worse the driver asked me of a tip as well.

The chat functionality is nothing else than to make sure that they will stop you to put any complains, never answer until you get exhausted and you give up trying to get your money back.

After reading this you still decide to go ahead booking it will be at your own risk.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. The guy Wayne phone directly to change time. Could not speak to anyone on phone only leave voicemails. Spoke to various people on online chat to see if booking was going ahead as Wayne has been avoiding calls and texts. Apparently this driver should not have contacted us at all. Not my fault! They offered a different driver but by this point I was so stressed (bearing in mind it was for the next day)! I asked to cancel someone phoned me back straight away (hallelujah!) and advised we would be charged anyway due to cost of dispatching van (according to t&c’s) which had not happened. I will be logging as fraud if the attempt to take the money from my account. Absolutely shocking company if I could give 0 stars I would! Horrendous customer service! Also had to ASK for a confirmation email as I had not been sent one it has no booking ref. And over all just shocking service!

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS. I was lied to by the idiot on the phone, snivelling giggling kid, immediately upon finding out he had lied I cancelled the booking. Checked my card and they have put the payment through twice.. and no refund. They will be reported to the Police, they are fraudsters. Nasty vile company with immoral staff.

The driver was fantastic but the…

The driver was fantastic but the company with which I agreed in the job failed to do his agreed job. I was promised that the service starts at 10:30 am instead it started 2 hours later which made a very difficult time for me since we had to wait for such a long time with the vehicle I had ordered on my own to carry my staff abroad. I needed only the handwork from the company and they have agreed. If I gave a 3star it is only because I am a very tolerant person.A company which gives something for his reputation cannot allow such a delay and poor service even if they called me inbetween and gave different time schedules. Finally the drivers professionalism could ease the situation.

Wayne and Dan are fantastic!

Wayne and Dan were fantastic. They loaded my furniture with care, speed and efficiency. They were polite and friendly at all times. I could not have hoped for a better service. I definitely recommend Wayne to move your stuff!

SCAMMERS - Still waiting for my refund: SHIFT/ VAN PLUS

Dishonest, disgraceful company.

I booked online, didn't receive a confirmation email.
Tried calling, emailing, left a voicemail, tried to 'log-in' - basically did everything I could to confirm.

Hours later I get a confirmation text, saying my driver is on the way?
I had already gone with another company, so contacted again asking to refund my money.

Then they had the gall to say my driver had completed the job when I had gone with another company and took £37 from my account.

I want my money back.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Fraudulent.

Excellent! Highly recommend!

Excellent service! Tomas helped me move to a new home. He arrived within perfect time and was lovely company. He drove safely and gently so my things arrived undamaged. He also helped carry my things to the house when we arrived (which he didnt have to do ). Definitely recommend this service! Thank you!

VanPlus/Shift unreliable

On 28th March 2018 I phoned Van Plus/Shift and arranged for a driver to meet me at a pickup point to transport an item of furniture to my address +- 3 miles away. They emailed to say a driver had been found and would be there at 14.00hrs sharp. Phoned the driver to make sure everything was in order and he was amazed that he had been given the job as he was based in London and would not travel to Swindon to do a £40 job (less agency fees).
I contacted VanPlus/Shift and they said they would find another driver. They then phoned and said a two man van had been located and would be at the address at 09.00hrs. The agreed cost was £36.00 plus £4.00 for allocating a specific time although they had specified the earlier time not me. At the outset I was informed that only once a driver had been found and confirmed would any money be taken from my account so I was alarmed and annoyed when I noticed that £41.00 had been deducted already on 28th.

Needless to say no driver arrived and I had to make alternative arrangements. The reserved debit to my account was released on 30th March so I am not out of pocket. Not a very reliable service so have given them 3 stars for at not taking my money.

Good service and great driver

Pretty easy booking process although I lost my booking slot which I think I had reserved but I restarted my booking and was unable to get the slot again.

Was cheaper than other quotes from other sites.

Driver was a great chap. Arrived on time to the minute. He was helpful and friendly. Delivery arrived in perfect condition.

WORST Delivery Company EVER!!!!!

Shift/Van Plus is the WORST company I have EVER come across!! They are liars. They never call back when they say they will. You can only communicate with them via their online chat. They never want to answer the phones. The drivers damaged my childrens furniture and still expect payment! They over charge. Drivers do not complete jobs. I would advise using a proper delivery company and definitely NOT using this terrible company.

Outright stole from me

Booked a 30min transport of 1 king size bed. 7 miles. Should have cost £25.00. Driver arrived took 30min and left in a hurry. We thought it was fine until we got a bill for 3 hours a whooping £150.00!! We disputed this charged for months and havent gotten a response from van plus. Driver blatantly lied and stole our money. Will be pursuing this in small claims court shortly

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. They are conmen who will take your money and not provide a service. Customer service refuse to help. Glad I booked on a credit card or they would have stolen my money.

Update:

As a further insult and a kick in the teeth to all their customers, as you will see these criminals have posted the same cut and paste apology on all the reviews just showing their utter and complete contempt for their customers.
