Terrible service and arrogant staff. We are moving out.

I am writing formally about the failure / delay on my case regarding the unprofessional conduct and severe negligence of ZOLVIT/ VAKIL SEARCH and the entire team assigned in handling my case # 5373479 / 5408049

Even after several reminders & mentions multiple times in all phone calls ,whatsapp chats in almost all my communication , since beginning on the accused will be absconding and the risk of the accused absconding,

All of which were ignored and managed carelessly , irresponsibly , taken for granted or handled completely unprofessionally and always met with vague assurances , false commitments and fake promises by ZOLVIT / VAKILSEARCH and your team.

The ZOLVIT / VAKILSEARCH team failed miserably to take the immediate necessary, relevant, time-sensitive steps to secure the legal interests of the case, which in result the accused got enough time to abscond and to evade justice.

As a direct consequence of your team’s failure, negligence, incompetency and unprofessionalism approach the accused has left the jurisdiction and gone absconding causing severe, irreversible damage to my case and losing my credibility, mental stress & substantial financial losses.

Hence provide full detailed explanation, immediate response at the earliest on further plans and workings from your team in how they will execute & action to get my case a proper & satisfactory justice at the earliest.( accused to be caught, punished and my money to be recovered from them) ,as of now i am still willing to resolve this issue amicably without claiming any refunds.

If a satisfactory resolution is not reached, I will be forced to escalate this matter to the higher management of ZOLVIT / VAKIL SEARCH and even if required will contact the relevant higher authorities concerned by filing a formal / official complaint for professional misconduct and initiating a legal malpractice claim to recover all damages ,personal ,financial & mental.

I engaged Vakilsearch under their Elite plan, where GST + MSME registration was shown as part of the package. After payment, I was later asked to pay additional charges specifically for MSME (Udyam) registration.

On verification, I found that MSME (Udyam) registration is completely free on the official Government of India portal. I was able to complete the MSME registration myself in about 10–15 minutes at zero cost and received the certificate immediately.

I feel the process and pricing could have been communicated more transparently at the beginning. Businesses are advised to independently verify government procedures before agreeing to additional payments.

Sharing my experience so other small business owners can make informed decisions.

Received very unprofessionals ervice from this company. Our company's ROC filing was delayed by 1 year. Nobody was responding to the calls and emails. Finally had to pay heavy fine for the delay. Company didn't take any responsibility for their mistake. If all goes well, its fine. But if there is any problem, they won't give a damn. Its always better to stay away from these online services and go with somebody who is actually accessible to you anytime. Had to go through a lot of mental agony because of them.

EDIT: I still haven't received any sort of refund.

Despite repeatedly informing your agent Rahmatullah that the GST registration was required specifically for GSTR-8, he still went ahead and registered us under a normal taxpayer category. This requirement was communicated multiple times, including by your own account manager.

What makes this situation worse is that this critical error was only brought to our attention after two months of filing, leading to unnecessary stress, delays, and compliance complications. It genuinely feels like ₹10,000 of our money has gone to waste. What makes this even more frustrating is that your team repeatedly followed up and pushed us to complete the GST registration, and when we finally did so based on your guidance, this is the outcome we received.

You charged us for a full year of GST services, yet the work delivered was fundamentally incorrect. This gives the impression that the focus is on collecting fees rather than ensuring accuracy and accountability.

This experience has been extremely disappointing. We would never recommend your services and formally request a refund for the incorrect work carried out.

I got my name changed through this platform, there was a constant update through the 2 months of time period. I highly recommend vakil search for anyone to use this platform

1 Star – Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience
I contacted Zolvit again for a name change process after I couldn’t complete it earlier due to personal reasons. Instead of receiving guidance or support, the representative was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I was told things like “You couldn’t do it last time, you won’t be able to do it now”—said in a condescending tone, without understanding my situation or even attempting to help. This is not how a legitimate business speaks to a customer, especially for a sensitive legal service.
Mistakes or delays can happen from a customer’s side, but basic respect and professionalism are non-negotiable. The conversation felt cheap, arrogant, and completely customer-unfriendly.
If this is how Zolvit trains its representatives to handle returning customers, it reflects very poorly on the company’s culture and ethics. I strongly advise management to review their customer handling standards and retrain staff immediately.
I expected legal assistance.
What I received was attitude and disrespect.

Not good experience with advocate on vakilsearch. In my first paid consultation, I was given different assurances regarding my case, which later turned out to be contradictory in the second paid consultation by the same advocate.

During the second consultation, the advocate dragged the conversation unnecessarily, did not give clear legal guidance..Not satisfied with the repeated advocate.They should assign different advocate if you're consulting second time or you should be given the right to choose the advocate.if option was there to replace the Advocate I would have chosen different advocate.

Update: Thanks to Trustpilot, through this bad review, Zolvit agreed to refund my payment (which they had refused to do on several previous communications).

OP: On their landing page they've quoted a price too good to be true, NOWHERE have they mentioned that it is a 'Consultation fee'!/ that it's a part-payment other than in the receipt that we got an hr later buried deep within the documentation. At the end they are quoting prices well over the market, while delivering much less value, no negotiating and opaque pricing.
Yeah, BTW their fee is Non-refundable! (Update, they have refunded the fee after this review)

Here are my onest review Vakilsearch. Overall, the service was good and the team completed the work successfully. Initially, they informed me the process would take around 2 months, but it ended up taking nearly 4 months. There was a delay, but in the end, the job was done properly. I appreciate their effort and final outcome, though the timeline could have been managed better.

After reading the reviews, I registered for their service and paid ₹399 for advice on an employment-related case. A consultation time was scheduled, but I waited on the call for 40 minutes with no response. Eventually, I disconnected and emailed them about the issue. I was assured it would be resolved.
The next day, the assigned lawyer called me without any prior scheduling, and I was unavailable at that moment. I returned the call about two hours later, but he did not answer. I then requested a refund. To avoid refunding, I was promised that the lawyer would call me within two hours—which he did.
I explained my case in detail, and the lawyer asked for documents, which I promptly shared via WhatsApp. After that, there was complete silence. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no response.
When people approach lawyers, it is usually during stressful situations. Unfortunately, this experience only added to the distress. The lack of professionalism, follow-up, and accountability is disappointing. I have now completely dropped the idea of using this platform.

I engaged Vakilsearch to handle GST closure and compliance for my company. Despite repeated follow-ups over months, including multiple escalations (Ticket #5159070) and reaching out directly to Hrishikesh Datar (CEO), there has been no resolution, only empty promises.

Due to this continued inaction, I have now filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Grievance Forum (Docket #8377136).

Nobody is professional, be it my relationship manager Prakash Singh, the assigned to party - Mohammad Saif Rafi, or the escalation manager Hamilton or their CEO. All are incapable - plain and simple.

They just focus on getting money and will force you to register for unwanted services. I went to them to get GST, but they brainwashed me into registering as OPC PVT LTD. Now I have to pay more for many things, such as an auditor, and to close OPS I have to pay 20+k. They have purposely delayed service to get another year's renewal. My account is managed by many people, and in one year the promised tasks were not delivered. I keep getting responses saying that's not in the package, even though it was promised by the first person in the email.
