Prompt and friendly service.
Sammi was prompt and friendly. V4 Consumer sorted out the poor reception I received using the O2 SIM and the new EE SIM is working well.
I would stress that the problem was possibly due to my relocation to an area of poor reception here in Cirencester as other residents have experienced similar problems.

Scammed my pregnant wife into a contract.
Called my wife stating our Internet was up for renewal and they can offer us a deal with a new provider on the same network.
Cancelled our current contract and started this one.
Our provider contacted us to say we have cancelled 5 months early and need to pay the cancellation fee. After an hour on the phone it was established that we had been scammed into a contract with this company posing as BT.
Low and behold, V4 informed us that this did not happen and furthermore informed us that we can't cancel our contract even though it fell within the 14 day cooling period. V4 stated the cool off period was effective from the verbal agreement over the phone.
The sad thing is the Internet was good and customer service were hands on when there was an issue. This is sad because if they were genuine I would have possibly renewed but the damage was far too done.
I would avoid this company are they are dishonest and praying on innocent people

Quick, well-explained fix
Teresa was very helpful. I'm a self-admitted idiot when it comes to tech, but she made it as a simple as possible for me as she explained what I needed to do to re-set the connection, and put the firmware upgrade through. Got me back online and all sorted in 10 minutes, and I have something of an understanding of what to look out for in future.

Had a phone call from their sales team claiming that my current supplier was going to cut me off and terminate our connection and that V4 would rescue me and ensure that my connection would remain.
Very devious tactic to try and gain customers when I know for a fact that my supplier has no plan to do that at all. Shame on the sales team.

Arpa has been so persistent in trying to resolve my internet and particularly my landline phone issues. We need the landline for my elderly mother. This is now solved and it helps greatly dealing directly with one person all the time. It honestly was a a pleasure.

Sarmistha Chettri took my call. She was very clear with communication and patient while going through the process. Unfortunately I had to go to work as the call took longer than I anticipated but she called back promptly at the agreed time and got everything sorted.

Good customer service, and processes however an unfavorable situation.
Renewed contract on Aug 2025 to Aug 2027 when I expressed that I will be moving houses during the contract period. I was informed that during the process, I could just move V4 services from one address to another. However, it was identified late that the address had no V4 coverage in Mar 2026. I had to pay early contract cancellation fees of ~450 GBP. However, an alternative option of switching my mobile sim from GIFFGAFF to V4 plans would be sufficient.
This situation was not ideal, and more options should be provided to customers regarding addresses with no V4 coverage. However, it was dealt with a smooth customer service process.
