Sent blind mailings repeatedly to my parents. The mailings state they are "urgent" and sent to "ensure no lapse in coverage."
Talked with an agent that was trying some ham-fisted hard sell, insisting that they covered "everything" unlike other insurance groups. When asked for specifics, he repeated "everything." So, I would love to give them a zero for not even hiring competent scammers...but that wasn't an option.
Seriously, half the off-shore scammers are of a higher tier. Still jerks, but at least they aren't boring.

Scammers who target people who have had family recently deceased. Claimed to be home owners insurance which they are not. Claimed to have cancelled the service they lied about and it was not. Only after threatening to file a police report did they agree to cancel a second time.
I have asked this company to STOP sending "final notice" letters to my home. I get them every few months. PLEASE be the FINAL NOTICE and stop sending this junk mail to my home!!!

Corrupt company sending fraudulent documents using data that they can retrieve about home purchases to scare consumers into purchasing coverage
Anyone crazy enough to sign up for a Home Warranty scam…deserves what they get..don’t be a FOOL. Hang up immediately and throw away thier scam postcards.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had a 30 grace period and opted to discontinue. I was passed around the third time, but they would not discontinue my service. It took about 10 minutes arguing and screaming at a customer service representative.
Received a letter, looking like it came from my Bank, that the Home Warranty for our Reverse Equity Loan Maintenance Requirement was about to expire. Catch is WE DON'T HAVE A REVERSE EQUITY LOAN. Called our Bank just to make sure these jerks hadn't opened one without our knowledge.
This official looking document never mentions US Home Protection Services....I had to get their name by Googling the phone number. Note that it trumpeted that this was their "FINAL ATTEMPT" to contact us. I hope that that is so.
This is a very unethical and slimy attempt to drum up business. If you are reading these reviews and considering doing business with them, think twice. If they are this disingenuous in trying to get business, how do you think they will treat you once you are a paying customer with a claim?
I am considering opening a case with The Connecticut Consumer Counsel's Office. I hope that other Seniors don't fall prey to their lies.
This is a complete scam. Zero stars is the correct rating, but it's not offered here.
I had to examine the whole postcard to find the company name. US Home Protection Services is in tiny letters on the back, at the bottom. So these people don't even want recipients of their felonious mail to know who they are.
I don't even have a home warranty or a reverse mortgage, but I imagine that people who do might get worried by the wording on this. Which is the scammers' intention.
I also imagine that the legitimate companies being named as the mortgage holders would be concerned that they're being connected to this garbage. I intend to let the company named on mine know. Also the Post Office, since these people were stupid enough to use the US Mail to send their illegal communications. Twice, in my case.
I advise everyone who gets this garbage to report it, to the FCC if it's on the phone, or to the US Postal Service if it's through the mail.
I was extremely upset to receive a FINAL NOTICE in the mail. Stating that my properties coverage may be or may have already expired and required immediate action. I called and was told it was an offer to purchase a home warranty. No where on the letter received was that info.
This was despicable. I will also submit to BBB
I was lied to by Brent Hamby, a sales rep of Superior Home Protection, about the coverages that would be included in the policy. I spoke with a customer service rep who said that a recording of my conversation with Brent would be reviewed by his manager and that his manager would call me back. That never happened. Reps just keep offering to discount the policy and stretch out payments. Total scammers.
These people got my elderly parents information they would not let me cancel the policy I was on the phone for an hour and 17 minutes with a person who had the audacity to put me on a timeout hold because I kept telling them to just cancel the policy so run away screaming and protect your elderly parents from this company
Just got off the phone with them, they sent me a flyer in the mail thought I'd check them out as it sounded quite affordable. Was told I had to sign up immediately to qualify to sign up for this special offer, told them I want to check you guys out before I commit to anything but again told the price will increase if I don't sign up right now, I can't rate them for service but I don't succumb to high pressure sales tactics and send me a packet explaining what you actually cover. Based on my interaction with the sales rep I felt it was kinda shady and a high pressure tactic such as buy now or pay double. I'll Pass.
This company is one of many that send me letters plying me to pay for Home Warranty services. When I call they try to sign me up; I ask them to take me off their list, send no more communications but they do not comply, just keep talking to try to sign me up. They are not affiliated with my Reverse Mortage, but they have my name and info. I have had a Home warranty service before and was very disappointed, do not want to waste my money on ANY service again.
These people send deceiving letters to elderly people.
I would not trust any company that does this.
"FINAL NOTICE" Immediate response requested to avoid delays in coverage. No mention of warranty service.
The customer-centric approach at US Home Protection is evident in every interaction. They truly put the customer first.
