DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS OR USE IT

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS OR USE IT! It is freezing and a buggy mess each engine freezes and do not work. There is no way to report bugs due to it freezes and crashes the tab/window if your cursor goes near the report bugs/tool tab/system settings. Unreal engine sucks, it freezes and bugs out but I feel like they owe me money for wasting my time. Don't let them waste yours. DOWNLOAD A DIFFERENT ENGINE THAT WORKS AND VALUES DEVS!!!

Install Failed

I've used this Engine in the past and really enjoyed using it. But for some reason when I try to download Unreal 5 I get a message saying a file had corrupted. I thought this would only happen one time or it was my PC, however this message will pop up every single time I try to download plus it happens halfway through so afterwards I need to delete the files and try again just for it not to work. The engine is great but this is a massive problem.

dont bother without deep pockets

unless you have an absolute monster of a PC dont bother even thinking your going to be able to use Unreal for any project. extremely inefficient for creating anything larger than a football field in scale, even a simple sculpt tool action to any landscape tile over 1km x 1km will flood your RAM with multiple GBs of data in mere seconds. wasted an entire week beating my head into my desk trying to make UE5.3 work with 16GB RAM because 8GB is the listed minimum, just to realize that the system requirements listed are massively outdated and underrated. (Epic themselves dont develop in UE with anything less than 128GB RAM anymore, which is quite telling of how hardware-hungry UE really is)

A Hungry Beast of An Engine

An amazing game engine with state-of-the art features. Absolutely awesome! Top notch!...However, it is extremely resource-hungry and requires really expensive hardware for at least decent performance and acceptable startup times. Unreal Engine is probably the best choice for already established 3D game studios who can afford the hardware and staff it takes to create AAA titles using UE. For the rest of us, it's overkill and not that fun when it takes half an hour and more just to start the editor and open a project! 2D developers, indies and hobbyists like myself might consider trying some of the other game engines out there.

Excellent experience about the products on the marketplace and the engine. BUT the support is inexistant for me. I opened several tickets about an issue with my account and i had no reply. Still waiting...
