Fake cashback scam

They are the biggest scammers of all time. Offering students cashback and then when its time to stand on their words they ignore messages, emails and calls. Left me hanging multiple times once i asked about this issue.

Fraud company

Beware of this company, I had booked an accommodation through them but they had failed to tell me the exact price and the frequency of instalments. I then cancelled within the cooling off period and they told me I would receive my refund of the deposit. The deposit never arrived and I had to chase them for more than 2 months. They constantly gave false promises. I then requested for a charge back from my bank provider which was successful. There is a lot of videos on TikTok about this company in which they have defrauded many students and have failed to provide their money back. They will help you when it comes to having your money but when it comes to give your money back, they will ignore you- beware of these scammers, I also found out they operate in India and not in the UK

Uniacco was truly amazing

Uniacco was truly amazing. They reply swiftly and that is just wonderful for me as a panicker lol, and honest too. There was a time that I contacted them at a late hour but was surprised to get a response almost immediately. Traveling from your home country to another can be overwhelming and Uniacco made getting an accommodation so easy I felt pampered. Thank you so much Uniacco.

Extremely Disappointing Experience With UniAcco - Endless Follow-Ups, No Resolution

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with UniAcco, I genuinely do not want future students to go through what I experienced.

In August 2025, I booked accommodation at Canvas City Point through UniAcco after being clearly promised a £250 cashback by their representative, Karan. I have screenshots and written proof confirming this offer.

Since then, I have sent over 20 emails, had multiple calls with different representatives, and repeatedly followed up for months. Every time, I was either told the matter was being escalated, someone else would contact me, or that the concerned employee had left the company.

After months of waiting, I was suddenly told I would receive only £80 instead of the original £250. When I shared proof of the original agreement, my emails largely started getting ignored.

One of the representatives, Anuj, even disconnected the call while I was explaining the situation, which was extremely unprofessional.

I had also referred a friend through the same representative after being promised an additional £50 referral cashback/voucher, which was never received either.

It is now May 2026, and despite providing all proof, screenshots, booking confirmations, and repeated follow-ups, the issue is still unresolved.

What has disappointed me the most is not just the money, but the complete lack of accountability, communication, and resolution over several months.

My honest advice to future students: please be extremely careful before booking through UniAcco, especially if cashback or referral offers are involved. Make sure every commitment is formally documented and do not rely solely on verbal assurances.

UniAcco is Great!

UniAcco has been a wonderful and helpful experience, with consultants who reach out to you and help you every step of the way in a quick and responsive manner.

My experience with one of their Booking Managers: 'Janvi', helped me sort out my accommodation for the Second-Year easily where I was once in a pinch to find it.

Would absolutely recommend them for anyone trying to find their next Student Home.

Do not by your accommodation through UniAcco.

Do not buy your student accommodation through UniAcco. Me and my partner were looking for an accommodation together and settled on Allen Court (44 week contract), which Sandhya Ayyangar helped us find. They told us this property was available and asked us to pay £200 in deposits and we signed guarantor agreements. After time, communication between us and UniAcco became minimal, our questions were not being answered and we were being left on either opened or delivered. Eventually, we told them we would withdraw our deposits if we did not receive tenancy agreements for the property we were promised. After UniAcco received this message, they told us that the 44 week contract they approached us with was never available in the first place. Essentially selling us a property that had no rooms left and that was no longer on the market, which they already knew at the beginning of the process when they persisted we buy it. Ultimately, they’re an unreliable and incompetent company who wasted our time and let us down throughout the situation after we put our trust and time into them. Please avoid using this company as what you’re being sold is not legit.

Cashback of £200 pending for over 6 months. Multiple follow-ups and even final notice sent, but no response or resolution. Property has confirmed it is not their responsibility. Extremely poor experience and lack of accountability.

UniAcco is a scam website

UniAcco is a scam website. Sandhya Ayyangar from UniAcco meaasged me on WhatsApp after I enquired about accomidation on their website. She showed me multiple accomidations and we settled on Allen Court. I paid a deposit for a 44-week contract on a prestige studio. They later requested another deposit as we were doing dual occupancy with my girlfriend, so we ended up giving them £200 in deposits. After weeks of hastle and waiting we still didn't have booking confirmation or tenancy agreements after my parents filled all the guarantor paperwork. Sandya then messaged me saying there were no 44-week contracts available after we have already given them the deposits for a room. When I asked them to sort this out or refund me, they stopped opening my messages. I had to call my bank to refund my deposits. This is a scam company.

Contacted me for information, then went no contact

I had gotten a great service from them in 2025. However, one month ago I reached out to them for another accomodation. Moksh called me, telling me about the discounts and cashbacks they can manage for me. Then I filled out a form, answered some of his questions. After that, he just went no contact. I tried texting him for information but he never replied. That was disappointing.

So here is the thing i had booked an accommodation in Uk Sheffield , the name of the accommodation was Nebula student accommodation, i had booked this accommodation in jan 2025 and i had paid 50 pounds as a reservation deposit to Uniacco and was promised by their employee Mr Kaushik the deposit will be refunded by end of the contract which ended in august 2025 . Since then they never bothered to refund the reservation deposit and none of the employees had the things to call back in Feb 2026 i mailed them and sinced then they were like it will be refunded in 7-10 business days but its almost March end that i haven't received the refund . They provide you with pathetic service. The employees of theirs Mr Kaushik always keeps people on waiting and never responds on time . I would rather suggest everybody else to not book through them and also i think they should shut the company down. Very poor service

I booked my accommodation for 2025 last…

I booked my accommodation for 2025 last year in January. They took an token amount for confirmation the accommodation for me and which their agent “Kaushik” mentioned that he did the same. But few days before flying he said its not confirmed. And the money was taken to do so and he promised that he will get it refunded after the accommodation contract is over its been a year since he has not bothered to contact and not he has responded my calls or messages. I paid 50 pounds and it is a big amount as a student. I would really recommend do not go to Uniacco worst customer service and not at all professional. Would recommend them to shut the company.
