Understairs by Giobella Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who knew the space under your stairs could become one of the best features of your home?

Giobella didn’t just fit us some storage — they turned an awkward, often-wasted space into something genuinely impressive. The difference it has made is amazing, and we keep finding ourselves admiring just how well it’s been done!

A huge shout-out to Nick, who carried out the survey. He clearly knows his stuff, understood what would work best, and gave us confidence that we were in good hands from the very beginning.

Then came Adam, who brought the whole thing to life. The fitting is absolutely spot-on, the finish is superb, and the attention to detail is what really sets it apart. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and Adam certainly does. Everything looks as though it belongs there, rather than being squeezed into a space that was never designed for it.

What impressed us most was that this wasn’t just about adding cupboards. It was about making better use of our home, removing clutter and creating something that looks fantastic while being genuinely practical.

Nick planned it, Adam perfected it, and Giobella delivered.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. If you’re sitting looking at the space under your stairs wondering what to do with it, speak to Giobella — you might be surprised by just how much potential is hiding there.

An absolutely first-class job from start to finish. Thank you, Nick, Adam and everyone at Giobella. You’ve turned an ordinary bit of our house into something special! 👏

We are absolutely delighted with the bespoke storage created by Giobella at Understairs. From the very beginning, Giobella took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and offered excellent advice to make the most of the available space.

The finished result has exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality of the build are outstanding, and the storage fits perfectly with our home. Not only does it look beautiful, but it has also transformed how we use the space and given us so much additional storage.

The installation was carried out professionally and efficiently, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Giobella was a pleasure to work with, keeping us informed throughout and ensuring every detail was just right.

We would highly recommend Understairs and Giobella to anyone looking for high-quality bespoke storage. Thank you for creating something that is both practical and stunning.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars without hesitation!

We couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish. The quality of the under stairs storage is excellent and the installation was carried out by Adam to a very high standard.

The team were professional and friendly throughout. They took great care to ensure everything was measured and fitted perfectly.

The finished result looks even better than we expected. Communication was also excellent and the whole process was smooth.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality under stairs storage solution and professional installation. Excellent service and a fantastic finished product!

Really nice product and service. Tony has been on top of keeping us up to date, he wasn't pushy whilst we weighed our options, and he helped us to make the right decision. And come fitting day, Adam was spot on. Polite, focused, professional. And best of all, it looks great, definitely making better use of the space too.

Superb from start to finish, our fitter Adam was fantastic, great pride in his work and excellent craftsmanship.

After visiting the showroom to get some ideas Tony came round and measured up, very friendly and professional, Adam who installed units rang me when he was on his way and stayed late to complete the job, the finish is impeccable and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks again

The whole process from the initial consultation with Tony, through to the installation by Adam, was flawless.
Despite our stair case being poorly installed and not square, Adam persevered to make everything look spot on.
Well impressed and what a team 👌

Contacted Tony @ Giobella who came round and did a measure up he then gave us the options available. Once we decided he provided a date to suit our schedule. On the day we received a message with eta and Adam arrived at time stated and have to say he didn’t stop all day 10+hrs to complete, wow what a job he did, superb craftsman!!! Highly rate Giobella and the service they provide would recommend them without hesitation. If you have been looking for under stair storage but hesitant who to use look no more.

We ordered this back in April and due to the fact they are so busy fitted finished today. The product is very high quality and well made which was only made better by the fitter Adam - his approach to his work is fantastic he is an exceptional tradesperson

Great job, Adam kept everything clean and very good at what he does. Upstairs looks excellent.

I highly recommend this company for under-stairs storage. From start to finish, the service was outstanding.

Tony was extremely professional throughout the entire process. When he came to take the measurements, he brought all the material samples with him, which made it much easier to choose the right finish and see what would work best in our space.

A special thanks to Adam, who installed the cabinet. He was incredibly professional, and I would highly recommend asking Tony to have Adam carry out your installation if possible. The quality of his workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. He worked tirelessly all day, focusing on every detail, and the finished result exceeded my expectations.

After completing the installation, Adam cleaned everything thoroughly and left the area spotless, just as it was before he started.

Another thing I really appreciated was that they kept to the agreed installation date. There were no last-minute calls, delays, or excuses to reschedule, which shows how reliable and professional they are.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service and the finished product. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high-quality under-stairs storage.

Highly recommend this company.
We visited the showroom and spoke to Toni about what we wanted - bespoke drawers and doors with seating area under the stairs. Although this wasn't standard, Toni was very helpful and accommodating. Once we had generated an estimated cost based on what we wanted via their website, Nick came to measure up. Nick explained the whole process as well as provided ideas on how the drawers, doors and seating area could work with the space we had.
Once we were happy with the plans, we paid the first installment and scheduled in the fitting.
They were very accommodating as we had to change the date of installation to a later date due to other building works going on.
Adam did the installation and worked very hard over 3 days as the job itself was tricky with a few issues in relation to our wall not being perfectly level in some places. Adam worked patiently and with his skills, managed to make everything fit nicely. We appreciated that he didn't cut corners in order to finish within the 2 days that was initially allocated to complete the work. His attention to detail meant he informed us during the first day that it was likely to take 3 days to complete.
The material and workmanship of Giobella is high quality. Both Toni and Nick were very professional with their advice and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Adam did a fantastic job as the finishing looks great with plenty of compliments from friends and family who have visited since this was fitted. Thank you Giobella for a fantastic service.

Today I had my understairs storage fitted by Adam who has done an excellent job, very polite and took his time to make sure everything was perfect, left everywhere clean and tidy would certainly recommend. Thank you

Just had my understairs unit fitted a couple of days ago and I’m delighted. I initially booked with another company but didn’t feel they were answering my questions adequately and then when I found out they were only primed and I would have to paint them all myself I cancelled. I found the ad for Giobella and from the moment Nick arrived to measure up with a sample of the doors I’d asked for online showed me the quality and how it was made I knew I had made the right choice. It was a bonus to find out it was the same price as my quote from the first company and no painting from me! My fitter Adam arrived on the date we agreed and was so quiet and professional I forgot he was there. The work he did was impeccable and he cleaned everything up even my drive outside where he had been working so that left me nothing to do but admire my new installation. I would highly recommend this family run company if you’re thinking of having understairs storage professional standards from your first phone call to the finished result.

From design to implementation it was a pleasure to work with Understairs, The initial consult help with the design to make it right for the space with also make sure this is what we wanted. The workmanship from Adam was excellent, with great attention to detail and a high-quality finish. The team were professional, friendly, and kept everything tidy throughout the installation. The experience and knowledge they all brought made this an easy process from start to finish and would highly recommend them

From start to finish we received a top quality service from checking out the showroom, followed by the survey by Tony, topped off by Paul who completed the installation. Paul was a true professional who clearly takes pride in the quality of his work, tidied up once he had finished and even checked the drive to make sure that no screws or nails had been dropped. I would recommend the whole team, quality at a reasonable price. A pleasure. Paddy

We had a fantastic experience using Giobella, we had under stair storage fitted a few months ago which is brilliant. We then requested a bespoke floor to ceiling cupboard to hide the fuse box in the same material. Tony was fantastic and really helped us out with what we needed. Adam came to fit yesterday and we are thrilled with the result. Adam was lovely and professional and really took pride in his work. He went above and beyond to create the perfect outcome for us and we have been really impressed by the whole professionalism and dedication the team at Giobella have.
We would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
We were very happy with the highly competitive price too as it all seems such good value for money,
Many thanks to you all, Jamie & Alice Robinson :)

Service and professionalism from start to finish was excellent. Adam did the fitting and is an absolute perfectionist. We are deighted with the end result.

Adam has just finished fitting our under stairs storage and has done a fantastic job. He checked how we wanted certain things fitted at the outset (the height and width of the cupboard shelf). Adam's work was first class and the finished cupboards look great. I was also impressed with Tony at the Chorley showroom. Tony talked us through a variety of options for the space, andproduced a Cad image of the design and finish. We had a good chat about internal fittings for the drawers and cupboards, which Tony confirmed when he came round to measure up. The materials are of a very high quality and everything works just as it should. The timetable was fully explained and everything was confirmed a couple of days before the agreed fitting date. I would thoroughly recommend the company.

We have recently had our Understairs configured with 3 drawers. 2 for shoes and a deep one for bags.

We also had shelves put in a storage cupboard also under the stairs. Paul and Gary did a sterling job and a pleasure to have in my property.

The workmanship was excellent they came when they said they would. Their work was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves. Very professional and skilled. High standards and excellent quality.

I would highly recommend. Competitive prices.
