Exceptional Service. We had a old system ADE Accenta 8 , The manufactures no longer make anymore, Technician from UKPROSEC, came out on time and within the specific day allocated. Got my system to work straight away follow a tamper fault. Well Done Guys.

My 86 year old father who has dementia called the National Service Line believing he had a fault with his intruder alarm following a power cut. An appointment was arranged for the 17/3/25 and he was charged £196.70 as a call out fee despite having recently paid £201.73 for Goldstar annual service policy. I was able to resolve the problem with the alarm for my father. He had become confused about how to use it as a result of his dementia. We phoned and cancelled the call out and were told that my father's account would be "Credited" for the £196.70. I also sent an email explaining the situation and requesting the refund. No refund has been issued despite numerous phone calls being met with various promises that the refund was being processed. I now do not expect to receive the refund. I would urge anyone considering using this company to avoid them at all costs. The customer service is appalling and I have been met with numerous blatant lies regarding this refund. No reputable company would treat an elderly man with dementia in this dreadful way. Do not use this company.
1st Class Service Operative in the field was very polite, efficient and had done all he had to do very quickly, we couldn't have asked for better service. He had a very nice nature, and answered a few questions we had in a most professional manner. All in all, a first class service. Moreover I received a call the following day to check everything was ok.
My query was dealt by Luke Windsor today. Luke was reassuring and most helpful. He made everything very clear to understand. I felt nervous to make the call as I had an alert on the system which I had not seen before, but thankfully, he booked in an engineer for today whilst I was on the call, so I was happy I made the call. We have just moved to a new house and once again needed to install at UKPROSEC security system. The installation was set up, then delayed by one week. The equipment was sent out to me well beforehand. The engineer who came - Richard - contacted me prior to his arrival and everything was conducted in a very efficient and helpful manner. We talked through the possibilities and then he worked away to install everything and explained the upgraded system now being used. Downloading the app to my smartphone was not straightforward and eventually I managed to do this and everything is working smoothly: emails every time I set or unset the system and a daily reminder. Thank you. Richard has a vast area of the South of England that he covers: but was unhurried and friendly in his approach.
Over charged for a service package and no details on what the package included. Essentially charged £294 for one call out to replace a battery 30 mins on site. THey could not check exterior box and was told it would be automatically booked in but waiting 2 weeks and no follow up. They do not return calls and hard to get through to someone. Happy to take money and not provide a service to match.
Sold my elderly mother a system she didn’t need for £850.
100 phone calls & most cases nobody responds.
Finally got sent email to a Mrs cummings.
Absolutely disgraceful way to treat an 86 year old.
It’s now 3 months so I will contact debit card company.
Not professional & breaking the law in terms of hard sell. Took my mother’s money with no terms & conditions provided.

I use this company to do my security top up training, course was well organised and quick... Had some issues with qualification but I received Help quickly, and the fault was on SIA side. I would recommend for security training and first aid
I have been trying to get a refund (on behalf of my elderly father) from this company for about 5 months. Each time I call I speak to the same man who assures me that my problem is being dealt with and that someone will be in touch with me. No one has EVER rung me back. This is the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. Their customer service is non existent and I would recommend that everyone runs a mile from them.
Their customer service was very pushy by calling often twice a day to sign up for a yearly alarm maintenance contract with them. After we did and our alarm system had a battery fault, we could not get anyone to come out and fix it. They simply say that they will call you back and they never do.
Tech Support from UKPROSEC lnvestigated problem had with sensor attached to my bifolding door. He called me before appointment to make sure my availability, upon arrival straight away recognised the fault and able resolve the issue promptly. Happy with the serve I received

Unreliable, money grabbing and will avoid you like the plague if you ask for anything that doesn't involve them making money out of you.
Old systems, terrible tech and terrible service - they don't turn up, cancel on you and then pass you around and avoid you if you call up.

Update on this experience. Received cheque for £500, shame it took so long to resolve this issue.

Scammers, I am a returning customer for this company
and have used them for more than 5years.I have asked then to set up security alarm for my new home and lo and behold they charge me £638.75 which included extra fob key for a silver bundle which is £589 on there website.They promised to refund me back £49.75 but stopped picking my calls.Not until I raised a dispute with my credit card company before a refund was given.STAY AWAY!!

Thank you to Richard and the Prosec team for your prompt and rapid response. We had a blip with our alarm system and Richard was on the phone having received my message in the early hours on a Sunday morning to help me resolve the issue temporarily while he organised and engineer to visit. He was also very accommodating at the fact that I was working and had to attend meetings which couldn’t be cancelled last minute. Been with Prosec since 2009 and they have been a great service provider to deal with. Definitely recommended to anyone looking!
