Money grabbing, uncontactable agency

Large shopping centre carpark we’ve used at various times over the years. Sent a £100 (£60 if paid immediately) fine for having front wheel over line. What one is unable to explain is that there was a homeless person sitting in the corner of the space, selling something like Big Issue and we didn’t want to hit him with the car! Didn’t see a single sign anywhere for this company. Absolutely disgraceful tactics.

Money-stealing, greedy, soulless succubi

Disgusting, parasitic vultures preying on minor incidents without consideration of any leniency, no way of speaking to a human to garner any compassion for innocent mistakes, and no pausing of conditional offer whilst appealing. Really not sure how people with a conscience work for companies like this. Or the debt collection companies that the fines get passed to. Has anyone ever had a good experience with UKCPS? I HIGHLY doubt it!

Predatory "Mother’s Day" enforcement – £300 in fines for one family visit.

If you are visiting family at a Keepmoat development managed by UKCPS, be extremely careful. This company appears to specialise in "gotcha" enforcement rather than fair parking management.

I have visited my retired parents at many times on weekends without issue. However, on Mother’s Day, UKCPS clearly decided to target the estate, knowing it would be at its busiest with families. My two brothers and I were each issued a £100 fine (£300 total) for parking on the roadside when the driveway was full.

While there may be signage, it is clearly not prominent enough to alert long-term regular visitors to a change in terms. To sweep a residential estate on a major family holiday is cynical, predatory, and shows a complete lack of common sense or decency.

UKCPS isn't "managing" parking here; they are tax farming residents' families. Disgraceful business practices that serve no purpose other than to penalise people for visiting their elderly parents.

Avoid at all costs.

I am disabled and vulnerable

I am disabled and vulnerable, and I rely on my car for daily activities.

I parked outside Costa and my car was positioned between the lines. However, one of the front tyres was slightly over the line. This was a minor issue and did not cause any obstruction.

I received a parking fine of £60, but the notice was sent 6 days after the parking date. This has reduced the time I have to respond, as I was only given 14 days to pay the reduced amount. I now have only 8 days left.

If I do not pay within this time, the charge will increase to £100. I am on a low income and I am very unhappy about this situation, as the penalty feels unfair for such a small mistake.

I have received a parking fine from…

I have received a parking fine from this company today. Showing photos of a number plate that is not even mine and on their website appeals page the reg does not even match my registration . Also saying I was parked in a disabled place in a car park in Cardiff this is not even my car and I have not been to Cardiff in 50 years.
Finding how to appeal this too is so difficult even worse when the car is not even mine and does not even match the number plate or colour of my car.
Causing stress because of someone’s incompetence or some automated service.
This better be the end of their incompetence
Or I will be seeking legal advice.
Terrible too that the DVLA just hand over your details without seeing photos of a registration that actually matches your car !

This company operates ILLEGALLY

This company operates ILLEGALLY and they love to harrass you.
I parked in one of their managed carparks, only I wasn;t aware as they had no signage installed. They sent an invoice. I appealed. Heard nothing back. Then the amount increased. I asked about the status of my appeal, they had rejected it but had not informed me so I could not moved to on to the independant appeals commission. UKCPS CLAIMED they had sent my appeal (no evidence of a tracked letter and funny I received every other one of their harrassing letter including that of their debt monkey company's Trace Debt and Moorside Legal). Continued threats and uneducated lowly paralegals from Moorside to ask, plead, force and beg money from me. I left it until we went to court. I won and the case proved their signage to be illegal. They now owe myself money.
Now, I am all for parking management - but done professionally. In the past I have used management services for a car park I had. I made sure the company I chose did it ethically. Not this UKCPS lot (though 1 member of their team proudly states on his Linkdin page he follows "ethical car parking management strategies") they don't even send an appology for when THEY get it wrong and offer no reason for why they "conveniently" did not send out the status of my appeal.
If your a company lookig for car park management - steer well clear of these unethical, illegally operating imbeciles.

A company that has no regards…

A company that has no regards whatsoever for disabled people. I parked in Harrogate, Crescent Gardens (HG12SG) where is also a Pay Machine, where is clear stated that Disabled badge holders can park free of charge, but they don’t care. I have tried calling and they don’t answer. Also they use a debt recovery company called Trace and a legal company Moorside Legal none of this are interested in discussing with people who are trying to explain what happened.
Awful awful behaviour and zero respect.
With this occasion I would like to ask as many people to complain to Standards Trading maybe we can get them closed down.

Companionate to understand

I parked at one of their space twice unknowingly, I had a very difficult situation which prevented me from not assessing their parking premises. I was also misled by the another centre staff who confirmed I could do short stops this parking space. I described my situation to the appealing team with evidences, they were kind enough to understand my case and offered to wave my parking on companionate ground. Many thanks, it was a great help during a challenging stage ofmy life.

Beware Of This Parking Company Using Misleading Tactics

Before I start, this review is not sour grapes at receiving a fine. This is based upon the 'service' received from them when appealing.
So, this company are experts in covertly advertising that a car [ark is run by them and minimum stay times and/or charges apply. This leads to people innocently missing the signs and notices unless you really look for them.
Then, once a fine is incurred, they send you the notice quite late in the proceedings. Once you dare appeal, you get nothing in return by means of resolution or decision - only a reference number. The next stage in their tactic is to send out a letter titled DEBT RECOVERY with the increased charge.
Again, when this is challenged, they lie about sending out correspondence and refuse to budge from the criminally extortionate charge they decide to implement.
This company are employing intimidating and misleading tactics on innocent drivers. And there appears to be no regulations on what they do.

It would be 0 stars if I could

It would be 0 stars if I could.

Visited leeds train station at 11.30pm, it was dark and rainy, and busy with traffic.
I drove down the road, and needed somewhere to wait for my eye and daughter to come home.
I pulled over to read a sign. It said no stopping, £100 fine. I looked at a map to find somewhere I could park. I was there for just a few minutes, then left.
They sent me a parking charge.
I appealed.
I received no response from them, and the parking charge disappeared from their online portal.

Then, two months later I got a letter from Trace debt recovery.

They have told me there's nothing I can do, and that I have to pay!

They can try!

Leeds station parking near Witherspoons…

Leeds station parking near Witherspoons , I'd no idea it was a No Stopping zone. Will UKCPS take me to court if I ignore them? How are people to know they should be looking for sinage? With works ongoing there's enough to look out for.

Absolutely rubbish place.

Absolutely rubbish place.
Sent a parking ticket to me for an offensive by the previous owner.
You can't call these people as their only number is open only between 11am until 1pm and then they cut you off.
They write to you as you are guilty and treat you like a criminal.
I'm not obliged to let you know of YOUR error but I was doing so out of politeness.
You don't answer the phone, so keep sending the tickets. I'll explain in court along with my claim for expenses
