Your website has got worse over the past 5 years. If you search for a 10 Meg ohm resistor you can't find any as they are listed as 10 mohm. Searching for inductor is hit and miss as well as capacitors... See more

RS is an industrial/trade only supplier, who've been in business since the 1930's. Asking for trustpilot review is bizarre beyond question; this isn't Argos.
However everything is wonderful other than the lousy search engine. You type in "capacitor 220uF 63v" & ge pages of unrelated stuff. This must cost RS because most of us won't bother searching twice....and order for a competitor.
I've been trading with RS since the 1970's.
Good grief..the next question is date of experience...who thinks of these questions? How about 1978 to current as an answer.

Always happy to order from RS. Whats not to like!! Usually have what we need and it is always delivered next day. Not always directly to our office, but close enough. (That is down to the courier and who is driving).

Don’t checkout as a guest, as it pretty much blocks your ability to find your order to arrange return. Their support bot claims their system will match email address to add it to your account, but real customer support refute that. I did get a returns number but no detail of how to post.

I ordered a part from you for a customer. You sent email saying you would let me know when it’s been delivered . A week later I called to ask where the part was you took ages finding out then said it was at the counter to be collected and had been there all week . You did not tell me it was ready to collect or inform me like you said you would in the initial email . I’m sitting waiting for the part for 6 days more than I should have my customer was not happy nor am I . Terrible service rude staff . I will not be using you again

I booked the above order yesterday for a delivery between 7am and 10am as this battery is very very urgent. I called this morning to check that it was on the way as it is urgent!
I was told that the battery could not be delivered by DHL and had to be given to TNT and the delivery could be at anytime up until 6pm. I have been told that I will get a refund for the delivery fee, however, this does not help me at all as I need this battery now.
This is not good enough.
1, I was not called or informed of this.
2, I had a colleague come into work at 7am so someone would be here to receive the parcel if it arrived early.
3, You should have a notice on your website explaining that batteries can only be on a standard delivery.
Very bad service and left my customer without what they needed.

Part was what I needed but £10 postage for an item that was the size of my thumb and is less than £3 was excessive. Sadly I was in need of the part so I had no choice

2 out of the last 3 orders have arrived late and then I’ve had to pay the carriage to return them. The only real reason people ever use/used RS Components was because you could order most things for next delivery.
That’s me done with them now and I have requested my account to be closed. I’ll use CPC Farnel instead from now on.

I find it very relatively difficult to be sent an invoice. I seem to have to go into every order to request a copy invoice. I expect to be e-mail invoiced automatically. I have now requested this.

Received wrong item. When trying to order the right item, was told it was out of stock. Although I was refunded the item cost £5.75 there was no refund or part of for delivery charge £9.50)
